My Mech was blacklisted from sl.. What the hell?

There are at least several possibilities. The blacklisted object may have contained a prim created (somewhere in its history) by a griefer or griefer-gang member for whom all content was blacklisted after they got into Yet More Toddler Mischief. Could be DMCA, too.

Besides a prim, it could be an applied or embedded texture, script... most any content could trigger it. If that's the case, it's likely gone for good: collateral damage in such cases just isn't going to be anybody's priority.

On the other hand, it could just be a screw-up. LL may still be unable to do anything about it (or even figure out what exactly happened, if the content got caught-up in some wider sweep), but if the stars are all aligned, a mix-up can get corrected.

No it isn't. It's the resident answers section. You didn't come for help, or answers, and you aren't getting any.

Agreed. But he might get some of both if he would stop hollering and answer some pretty simple questions. It looks like he just came to vent and he doesn't really care for any help or answers.

The Mech was probably the subject of a copyright violation DMCA.

When most people think of a "Mech" they think of the giant robot combat suits in Manga and Anime, such as Escaflowne, Gundam Mobile Suit, Robotech, or Patlabor, or in roleplaying or video games based on those robots, like MechWarrior and Battletech. It would be pretty hard to design a Mech that didn't in some way duplicate what those copyrighted sources already designed. The Japanese designers, and those who copied them, have already used and copyrighted a huge array of permutations on roughly anthropomorphic armored power suit combat systems.

Well, contrary to most of the people here, I agree that LL should contact you when they take such actions.

I think it's safe to say he didn't Copybot it, if he had, his account would have been banned too. It is possible if he bought it, it was some sort of stolen content.

In any event, i would pursue this matter with Linden Lab if I were you.
