Thanks, ArchTx, for the reminder. And, sad to hear you're thinking of closing your fabulous shop.

Hal and I have a "will" - whatever I have when I die in sl (and you all now that I die when my avatar gets killeddoing something reckless or some muppet kills me), my sl daughter gets what I have in terms of cash and Hal gets my land. Hal also gets a real painting I have promised him.

This is something that has actually worried me. Being the "owner" of other peoples homes for years. It wouldnt be fair if they lost a friend and their base. I have thought about this a lot and my RL husband has my password, but is instructes to give this to my ex partner who would 1) know who i care about, in SL 2) be able to fullfill my wishes cause he knows what to do in SL (and how to move both land and inventory) 3) be able to handle it (i dont think my RL husbands priority would be to sort my SL assets, however I know he would send the password, as i would to one of his friends on his fav place).
It took me a long time to get to where I am now. I always knew my now ex partner would handle this part of my will, he knows me better than anyone besides my RL-partner. A couple of years ago, i discussed this with both, and while i now (and then) is more than comfortable telling my RL my password, the thing is, he could never do anything ... he would be clueless (while i am alive, if i was dead he could do trial and error, but now i would find out). Also my password is mine, i want to be the only one logging on as me, and while i also trust my ex (even after he is an ex), i am not bothered if he logs on as me while i am dead, but i actually do mind when i am still living.)
We used to look for thinks like ArchTx Edo posted, now we dont need it. But I am sure many do. Its a nice addition.

I don't own a huge amount but what I have will just be cleared away and the land will revert to Governor Linden. But I intend to be about for a long time yet!

From: Jesseaitui Petion I was thinking about this a few days ago when I was being tested for something very serious at the DRs.
I hope you are ok...
