Yeah, too true! But sometimes the outer packaging is so damned attractive it is difficult to resist an impulse purchase. come look at my pretty package, L$100,000 please It's almost Christmas and I can tie a bow like you can't believe around an empty box. |

I'm very sorry to those people who did not want to read this.
I had posted this in building tips because in my mind it was a "tip" for builders, scripters and creators alike. I posted this to be helpful (not to attack anyone or call anyone out to "front street" or "take them to church" . The original post was quite positive and some very well respected builders in SL posted very valuable info concerning ingame and RL contracts.I was satisified with the post and the post remained dormant for a month before someone posted attacking me....and mentioning names. Then and only then the post was locked. As far as double posting is concerned did I double post here?(ive checked and cant seem to find a double post..if so my bad..I'm sorry) My intent was to provide a thread where people could share ideas about DMCAs...copyright infringement and I could get answers on how not to let this happen to me again. Thankyou Giant for the spell check on my Francais. it's been ages since i took that clas  Thankyou all for the advice..everything said...believe me; I've said to myself. I have kicked myself in the butt so many times I have a permanent footprint back there now and I agree with you all. No it's not easy to hear the truth about self (especially when it's ugly) and to those who were "nice" about telling me the truth..Thanx for being kind. ~Lana Tomba |

You made your original post 13 days ago to the building tips forum here: /invalid_link.html Like you said, the thread got some positive responses from folks - and some thoughtful folks offered some advice on how to prevent this sort of thing from happening in the future. Then, two days ago - it appears that the person who you are accusing posted their side of the story, which conflicts with your own. I'll lay money that this person also abuse-reported your original post, and that's why it was finally closed. Not two hours after Strife locked your thread over in building tips, you re-copy & re-post your posts from the other thread, *verbatim*, *twice*. I dont know if your version of what happened is the correct one, the other parties, or some combination of both. Frankly - I don't care - I just know that I shouldn't have to be reading this kind of thing in the SL Forums. _____________________
