A safer 'Second Life'

The ermm picture was well.. ermm portrayed, it sparkles compassion for the subject matter and certainly tells a thousand or so words.... but............. where is the toilet roll? Is the box next to him, with the hole, a place where he would perhaps shove his hand and a pet ferret cleans it for him? Or am I reaching there? I think that most generalizations about the Japanese culture are less true with every passing year. If so, the site would be dedicated to a diminishing demographic sector.

There are so many ways to make a tiny mistake and lose hundreds of dollars in SL.
Even a tiny amount of validation in the client would prevent many of these errors.

For example:

1. How many people make the mistake of selling their land for 1 L$ or accidently miss out a zero so sell it 1/10 th of its value
A solution would be you cannot sell land for less that 5L$ per sqm to everyone. And have the minimum amount per sqm that you can sell for changable in edit - preferences.

2. How many newbies or foriegn language speakers get ripped off by payment permision objects. Not so many now the box is a different color, but that box should never even appear for most people, since usually the only time you ever want it is when putting out a vendor that can return money.
A solution would be if you had something in edit preferences that disables even getting asked. The default state should be to refuse all requests for debit permisions.

3. Land extortion
Very very common in SL.
A simple solution is a land setting to mute seeing objects of specified people.
This way you could set it so no-one on your land will see the objects of your neighboor.
