Borked Again??? Or Still Borked !!!!!

lol... i had to laugh... mine was, "is your SL experience getting better or worse?"

I was in, crashed, was locked out 20 minutes or so, chatted with my Master on skype, tried logging in again, got sent to a hub, tped to a protected land sim, still couldn't tp home, tped to my shop and flew home from there... 20 more minutes later, I'm still horribly ruthed :/

I am sitting here too I am piof but not prem and locked out. this is a tech issue and not a status issue

Thats odd, I dont remember that at all. My first account was made months before this one of yours, unless you have one even older...or they wavered back and forth on it. Which wouldnt surprise me in the least with LL. >.< I never paid, got the 50L weekly without having to pay 9.95 to create either. Didnt even go premium until years later. *scratches her head and thinks*

I haven't been shopping much tonight or had to log back on... but I didn't actually notice any issues other than people complaining about them ... no lag, no tp failure, no transaction failures.

(I'll complain as much as anyone else when I do have trouble ... but just to point out that while some people can be plagued with issues, others can be in-world and not have any problems at all)

If I could log in and find you I would beat you with a sick for getting that song stuck in my head! =P

I'm in, but it's having issues. I was at a hunt and it was telling me I didn't have enough money for 0L items, timing out on stale transactions and, when I tried to go home, sent me under the building and now absolutely won't let me off the sim.

Can you tp to my house and feed my cat and feed the fish and make sure the cat box is clean? Thanks!

Strange days indeed for the last 18 hours I've been getting this message when logging into SL

The system is logging you out right now
your account will not be available untill
(time and date ) normaly 2 min's time

On my free account logging in is no problem at all!!

There was a slwiki blog I read once that mentioned that the login server can handle about 1000 requests a minute. The message you're getting refers to this. Be better if the message was changed to something like "There are thousands of people trying to login right now. So things are a bit busy. Do us a favour and try again in a minute or so. Cheers "

The blog also mentions to hang on when it says "logging in" and to not cancel it and try again. Some people do this and it doesn't really help. It just makes the server use up time waiting for people who aren't there, to respond. Delaying things even more for them and everyone else.

your ghosted. the sim you are in will need to be restarted. if you can not get ahold of the land/sim owner goto support and talk with live chat. They "should" restart it and it will let you back in after that. Happend to me a while back.

For me SL is $6 a month for unlimited hours of friendship, wonderment, and entertainment - a small portion of which is sometimes frustrating.

Going to a movie: $6 PER HOUR (or more) of ... errr.. "entertainment" ... consisting mostly toilet humer, inane childish sexual fixations and generally being insulted in a vareity of ways - by people who are so smug and self-superior that they don't think I'll know I am being insulted.

Paying another to insult you probably quialifies one for "dumbest consumer ever" IMO.

Borked or not I think this place is great, try using Utherverse (Redlightcenter) and then moan about this place... lol
I still, for now that is, have links to it on my profile in SL Profiles.... lol Go check out the profiles there and the forum and you'll see the type of problems they have! If you can put up with the mindless morons in there... The FW's!
When I was using that place, heavy lag.. and I do mean heavy... 'wading through treacle' would be a doddle compared to the problem of lag in there at times too, daily crashes.. log in problems.. the lack of support from Tech was, and still is, so I hear, common place. They have trouble with 1500... not 30,000 or 40,000 or 50,000 users. Some of the 'treats' and 'fun' things to do in there are still being promised to people. Bull riding, couples dancing, skateboarding, 3somes, personal apartments to name a few! they cant even pole dance, and the dumb thing is that in there the 'bots' are set to use them, but you can't!
I and my friends plus lots of other people got fed up of that place and left. We guestimate that about 150 of us, to our knowledge at least, use SL now instead, and it's truly a joy to use in comparison to the aggravation we suffered in there, and for $20 a month too! No annual subscription fee, but monthly! 150 x $20 x 12 = $36000 a year that they've lost! We hear that more people are leaving too. As to whether they will survive the current problems we neither know nor care! also the in-game monetary unit has nose-dived... now trading around 0.65, whereas it used to trade around 0.85 - 0.90 meaning it's costing you more to cash in your 'rays' (the ingame monetary unit).
The majority of us have cancelled now and have been in here for about 4 months now and we love it. We use our $20 a month in here and get to enjoy using it too!
Buying land, renting places, lots to see and do. We get up their noses in there by blogging about this place, adding pics to them as well so people in there can see what they're missing. We have converted people too... lol
The FW's in there sit and bitch and moan about this place and slag it off too, but won't even come and look or even accept the evidence when it's put in front of them, all they do is to pick holes in SL instead. They all think that RLC is far better too. We remind them that although the community in there is smaller and more 'personal' compared to SL they still haven't had what's been promised for over a year!
3somes are finally being introduced in there, after much hype from around November of last year and is finally in QA, at the present moment, also still no sign of the much promised apartments for all 'VIPs' in there either, of which it would appear they may have to pay to 'upgrade' them from basic apartments! Some of these things have been promised for over a year and still no sign of them. They've only just added dancing for couples for pete's sake!
The music streams are a pain.. same crud in diff venues, unless you own a place, then that costs a fortune in there too. One heck of a lot cheaper to do all the things you want to do in here. Own land/clubs/stores/homes etc and all as a 'Basic member' if you so want. Try doing that in Utherverse!

I'd rather put up with the occasional glitch in SL and the odd spot of lag. So as I said give me SL any day. I can put up with the odd spot of bother... A virtual cakewalk... even if it's like wading through treacle at times compared to that place! lol
