Last I knew, every IM sent to the client included their region location. The SL client itself just doesn't show that, but an open-source version could be made to. With a bit more work you could also script an attachment to put particles to the source of the IM, and program in support into your OS-client. Or just filter it out altogether.

Depends which Lindens you mean... the ones that promoted and brought in the CopyBot.. or the ones that are supposed to protect IP rights? Add ability for users to see the location/owner of objects that IM From http://forums.secondlife.com/showthread.php?t=203809 Tracking down "copybot protector" objects could almost be a new resident profession. It'd be great if there was an easier way to locate the position and/or owner of objects that have IM'ed you. Maybe something similar to the popup that shows pushes/bumps? _____________________
