With the number of users we have now, it's going to be a much longer process than it used to be. In short, no, I haven't.

With what else they have on at the moment I wouldn't worry too much about stipend for now. They made a blog entry last week about how long it was taking.

Had to be asked eventually... :D

I think it was Philip who said last week on the blog that with the current number of users, they're running late on stipends and such, and in the future, it might not even be Tuesday when we get them.

I think it was Teeple, because Phil is probably afraid to go near the blog at this point.

The process that sends out the stipend apparently has slowed down, there just too darned many of us receiving them! Wonder if VAT will change that? *blinks and looks around* What? Someone had to mention it in this thread!

Might indeed be, I wasn't really sure and too lazy to dig it out. :)

Yes. Last week the Providers said that it will take longer to dole out the Quatloos, that some may not even get theirs on Tuesday.

How about you wait about 12 hours before asking this question? Or 6? It's not even 9AM SL time!

This is an ongoing issue for me.
I have been in SL for almost 3 years and never had a problem with my stipend until about 6 weeks ago.
Every week it comes later and later.
I always assumed the earlier you created your Avatar, the earlier you got your stipend. I suppose I am wrong, as usual.
I used to receive my stipend @ 1am SLT religiously....now it just comes whenever the hell it feels like.

*sigh*

See, I had thought that it was by the amount of L you were getting for the stipend. The 500L first, 400L and then 300L.. and very last were the 50L 'free' accounts that still exist. I think I am now wrong in this.

Normally I would receive mine about 10 hours before this (I am in Europe). But I know they have noticed us about the delay, for whatever reasons.. I always got it on time until two weeks ago or so. Then it suddenly startet getting late. I am not worried yet, though.

It's Tuesday isn't it? If this topic didn't come up early Tuesdays each week I think the world would end.

the stipend cannot even buy me a decent pair of shoes. I only use it to buy food for my pets.

Hm, I'm beginning to think last week's comment may have been an early excuse to send them out REALLY late. Never had to wait that long, actually.

Yeah, I'll agree. It does seem that way, which is annoying because it's automated. Unless it requires a Linden to push a button to get the process started? If that's the case, this particular Linden has been on break for far too long today...

What I have realized, is there is no method what-so-ever.
Logically, one would assume they would pass out stipends alphabetically, the order in which created OR your way Raudf...
But no...that would be too easy for LL I think...
I think sometimes they like to just jerk us around, because they think they can.
My stipend is 500L a week and I can live without it since most weeks I can make triple that or more, but its the principle of it all...
Update again...its now almost 12:30pm in SLT and I still don't have mine. AGAIN.
I called them last week to find out what the deal is....could they tell me anything? Nope.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.
