Again Proven that the very sick people still live on sl. And the failure of dealing with issues is now at a all time high. Putting personal data will not guard agaisted this problem. Only way is to monitor the users more and more. yes please put it on youtube because i think this reporter's first video was banned from youtube and this one can be banned as well. Usagi i hate watching you have knee jerk reactions to a sensational story that is full of slander and untruths. |

and before you get excited i can not give you links to verify the policy change because like most policies this one is unwritten *rolls eyes* (not at you but at Linden Labs for being so terribly vague)
but i do have knowledge that sexual ageplay is allowed as long as youre not wearing a child sized avatar . .they word it strangely like . . any very short avatar who has specific attributes such as using baby talk and dressed in a specific manner as to represent itself as a child. and thats not a direct quote just the jist of what i read.
but say you have an avatar thats 5 feet tall in sl and wears pigtails and sucks a pacifier and calls your play partner Daddy. to the best of my knowledge, thats not against ToS from everything ive been told about it.
its actively being roleplayed in Incest groups so it must be within ToS or it wouldnt even be allowed. You better believe Lindens watch those groups closely.
the impression i got was that Linden lab really doesnt care as long as you dont get caught on a screenshot with a very short avatar on a poseball/nude being naughty.
of course i dont speak for Linden Lab. this is just my first hand knowledge of how the policy is handled. Can you say which Linden told you this? Or is it just some Linden who was "off the record" telling you? It all seems shady. |

It all seems shady. i cant offer any more information about it, sorry. i just know its a recent policy change that took place about a month ago. some Incest groups even hand out adult baby literature. as long as its noted all characters are over 18 then it is within ToS. i think youre confused about the minor thing because its still against ToS to be represented as a minor but thats very hard to prove unless you are wearing a very short avatar or specifically say your character is underage. None of which is required for ageplay. |

Don`t you love these forums these days. No mod persons anymore and all the nuts fruits and alts are talkingto themselves. Hello Har, You're right it was a very poor post, and I apologised almost straight after for taking a cheap shot. I was a bit weary, and at the end of the day a bit tired of all the pseudo-babble that gets passed off for logic in these threads. So I crumbled and responded in kind. In my defence I did say that's what I was doing in the post.. As far as all concerns being written off to the "creep" factor, well I think I've provided references to authorities and agencies in the area that believe there is a little more to it than that. I recognise that you're not really interested in the serious debate anyway so I don't actually expect you to go back and read my posts, never mind actually follow up on the references.. However, agree or not with the views, it is a serious debate and I think we're going to need something a wee bit more rigorously thought through than the "creep out" theory. Or the other stance which seems so popular.. No one's told me I can't yet.. so until then I'll carry on regardless .. I'd also suggest that individuals who choose to spend a lot of their time in SL, living fantasy lives as children and indulging in ageplay.. aren't the most objective people and given an instance of this issue coming to trial would more than likely be found as ineligible to sit on the jury. Which I think says quite a lot about the real level of debate which has taken place in this thread. |
