Have any Brits been able to verify?

Seeing all the trouble our Canadian friends are having, I just tried to verify.

I used both my previous and current addresses (moved around a year ago).

I tried my passport number.

I tried my social security number.

I tried my driving license.

Nada. Zip. Zilch. Nothing.

Whilst verification isn't critical for me, as I don't do anything that might require verification on an average SL day, it was an interesting test which proves one of either two things.

1) The system is knackered.

2) There is no information out there on 'publicly accessible records' that this Harry Stottle guy can get hold of, about me.

So... have any Brits managed to get flagged as over 18 yet?

All in good time dear chap!
How 'bout a nice cup of tea and a round of Bridge while the weather's so foul?
Honestly, I swear I've not seen weather this grim since yesterday morning. Did you see the clouds? Black as ravens coming over they were. Hardly any point opening the curtains.

Oh um. No. Not tried yet. Thought I'd let some other soul do the Beta testing thing for me. I'm all tied up with Beta search and the Beta Linux client right now, might even re-try the Beta Wind Light later. Still! Chin up! Am sure it'll all come right in the end old chap!

I verified a while ago when this was rolled out to concierge users. I used name, address and date of birth only and it happily verified me.

The UK passport office have told me that Integrity aren't an official partner of them and aren't verifying passport numbers via them. So maybe, if you enter that information and Integrity haven't got access to that information, it can't verify you.

Well, I'm a Brit but I'm not concierge level (lol) so I don't think I'll even try. I've also changed addresses (and countries) at least seven times in the past five years so I'd have no idea of what address to give them.

Put them all in. Let them build up a nice profile on you.

I had a go. tried three times. Gave up. I can't be bothered finding my passport atm but might try again tomorrow.
If the data is out of date, then it is unlikely I m going to be on there as I am only 18.
Some people are saying it is 4 years out of date so it might flag me as underage.

It's not four years out of date. I verified with my current address and I've been here eighteen months, and I verified a while ago.

I didn't have any luck either, but I assumed the system was under a lot of strain with it being new and with lots of people trying to use it at the same time.

Anyway, it didn't work on Opera, and on IE it was even worse since the state/province field was still flagged as mandatory after selecting the UK on the country field. ;)

Haven't been able to verify, despite living at the same address for years.

Don't you have to have some earnings to be liable for taxes?
Tab-ends of discarded fags found in the street don't count.

Decided to verify as the land I hang about on will have to be flagged sometime, both accounts verified fine first time, used my NI # cause I don't have a driving license or passport, no trouble at all.

Your national insurance number? They're asking for that? You're not supposed to disclose that to people unless they need it and they should only need it for tax purposes. They shouldn't be asking you for that.

"Keep your number safe and do not disclose it to anyone who does not need it. Remember, its purpose is only to record National Insurance contributions and credits you have paid or are entitled to, which will help decide how much benefit you will receive."

Everything rejected. Haven't moved for 18 years and I was 18 before most Lindens were born (in RL, that is!). Second childhood?
