I won an 10,000L contest & I was not paid. I tried to contact all day yesterday about my prize $ & she completely ignored me. When I tried to go there & ask her about it she tried to freeze me & today she banned me . I reported her to the Lindens. :] There are 2 other people who also won & they also were not paid. I had some people contact her because she has me on mute. She told them I wasn`t going to win anyway because I worked there. But before she announced that staff can`t enter I quit the week prior. She took the other staff members down but left me up. & STILL will not pay me. Is there a way where you can shut her club down or take the 10,000L that she owes each of us?

KRISITN REXEN WAS SUPPOSE TO WIN 10k, ALONG WITH TWO OTHER WINNERS, THRU A PHOTO CONTEXT AT VOODOO LOUNGE. THE OWNER OF THE CLUB SCAMMED ALL OF THE CONTESTANTS BY NOT PAYING THE WINNERS AND KEEPING ALL THE VOTE MONEY FOR THE CLUB/HERSELF. PLZ REPORT THIS BEHAVIOR WITH ME TO LL AND LET THIS OWNER KNOW HOW LAME ASS IT WAS FOR THEM TO DO THIS TO EVERYONE! HERE IS THE LM ...TP HERE AND REPORT THEM WITH ME. KRISTIN AND THE OTHERS WILL GREATLY APPRECIATE UR SUPPORT!! SL NEEDS MORE HONESTY & U CAN HELP!

Linden does not get involved in disputes between residents. The person you have named frequents this forum, so I imagine we will hear the other side of the story fairly soon.

i would edit out the names before you get AR'd for naming names. you can be banned for that, since it's against TOS. now that you've been warned, you'll have no excuse.

well i didn`t know about that just as long as people see this & see if they did indeed vote for a friend in the contest that it was a scam & the person who won **me** hasn`t been paid & something should be done about it. lindens should have a better business division.

Ahem: with the advent of the current viewer, the Lindens have hinted that they will get into a resident dispute over failure to payout or deliver a product. Has anyone looked at the AR categories recently?

There are currently at least two entries for Fraud.

Maybe there should be a system introduced for 'verification' of LARGE prizes. So the organiser has to register the details of the competition with LL and 'ringfence' the money first. I'm not talking hare about little L$200 prizes for 'best butt' etc., but big prizes.

In RL for larger monetary prizes usually a notary public is involved in the prize draw to make sure that everything happens as it should.

Of course, such a service does not exist in SL at the moment. It seems that it should, shouldn't it?
