Xstreet flaging my listing for ADULT

ok, someone PLEASE explain to me how the hell its FINE to have a full ASS on the "features" that displays across my damn webpage and my listing

IS FLAGGED AS ADULT CONTENT?!??!?!?!??!?


It is an outfit that has a panty and bra and you can only see a hint of nipple. (the actualy bra is about 85% sheer) WTF

this is the email I got.

"The Marketplace Listing Guidelines define the visible depiction of female nipples as Adult Content. Please flag your listing as adult or hide the content on your image. "


WTF I am pissed I have to see some fkin ASS on my webpage everytime I freakin log and they flag an item that has been on Xstreet for almost a year because there is a HINT of nipple!!!!!! Besides that I have seen SEVERAL of the features that you CAN see nipple.. So what if I pay more money in I wont be hassled about showing a bit of nipple.. WTF, is a male nipple oK, yeah apparently it is!! WTF is hte difference if I made my models A cups and put them in male skins can I then show my 85% sheer bra in non adult areas???

Im sorry this is a rant to be sure.. I am just SICK of double standards!

Well, you have several options.

Just cover the model in your ads with the Halloween Nipple Spinners (not Mature).

Pose your model in the ad with the Slave Chore Dirty Floor pose set, so that your female sex slave in lingerie scrubbing the floor has an arm strategically positioned to cover breast and pelvis (not Mature).

Alternately, use the Sensual Collection couples poseballs, so that your female model is kneeling in front of a man, with her face pressed into his crotch, but arm strategically covering her breast (not Mature).

Or, you could just pay for a featured listing so that the rules don't apply to you.

The standard for Adult Content on Xstreet is so low, does it matter?

Well if they are going to flag that as Adult then why not the skins they show nipples plus more?

It was my understanding that realistic skins where considered mature I even asked vie the chat help and was told it was ok to show and sell skins in a mature sim as long as the images are not engaging in a sexual act. I believe some others also asked about this in chat and received the same answer I did. Has this now changed?

Also in world last I checked anyway (it has been a while) other skin creators are still displaying their skins showing all parts in a mature sim.

OH I just went on Xstreet and notice that all skins are labeled adult. So is this rule only for Xstreet and not in world? I am confused.

Yes. Xstreet and in world have two different standards.

Please don't blame LL for this, its a American thing, not an LL thing. Here in America it is perfectly ok to see someones naked ass, but anything else like a nipple is porn. You can see this on TV, in magazines, etc. I've seen women walk around in tops that show off almost the entire boob, but nobody cares as long as the nip is covered. Remember the superbowl "nipplegate" thing? If he ripped the panel covering her butt off instead, she would be the butt of jokes, and laughed at, but you would never have seen the outcry the nipple caused. I belive this is also part of the reason for the breast-feeding debate. If a women wants to sit and breast feed her baby, that means a nip is exposed, and that means its porn!

Know how you're feeling Tarina - in the past week I have been slapped 4 times by xstreet for items that have been listed for the past 2 years that have no hint of nipple or nawtyness showing. A couple of the items had a bit see through but no perky bits on view. Either they have recently deployed a super prudish reviewer or an indiscriminate bot that does broad brush picture search and sends out an automatic response of the tonal values are above a certain level. I do take great care to adhere to their guidelines when listing I just wish they would take the same care when reviewing.

Now when I get one of their faceless remote messages I just mark the bloody things adult and be done with it. Making an appeal is a waste of time only to be indulged in if it's felt like making it a point of honour.

They did one of mine yesterday too.

I did appeal, marked it as NO DEPICTION OF NIPPLE LOOK AGAIN MORE CLOSELY and closed it as fixed.

Re-opened the case file, sent them a closer picture and even the CMFF template with the texture overlaid to show that the nipple area is in fact covered in the raw texture so there could not POSSIBLY be any depiction of nipple.

Quite ridiculous really.

I really wonder where they are seeing a difference between a male nipple and a female nipple. Both are the same construction! As far as I know, male nipples are PG and allowed in advertisments, movies, on the streets, in sports, etc...(olympic swimmers, triathlets, boxing sport, bodybuilding and divers for example).

Beside this, it seems that a human face is the most intimate part of a body because it is able to tell all secrets, disclosing hidden emotions and is for skilled observers kind of an open book. Other bodyparts are telling nothin and are more or less only boring. They don't talk.

If LL would be consequent, they would declare *faces* as forbidden, taboo, no-no!

So after another exchange with LL over my advert where I am now told that the aerola is also "nipple", some strange anatomy lessons gone on there but still...

Rather than rant on about the mindset of a person reporting an item where they can't even see what they believe they can, this is the paragraph on content that we are falling foul of:-

"Visual depictions of nudity including, but not limited to, exposed pubic area, genitalia, buttocks, and female nipples. "

Note FEMALE NIPPLES.

So... simple solution that suits everyone, I'll just redo the advert using a male avatar who has grown "man boobs".

This also raises the question of shading and highlights, whereas it is not actually the nipple you see but shading.... So, I am assuming in their standards it is also adult.
