The OP has previously reported being reduced to homelessness. And there are libraries and other public facilities now where anyone can log on to the Internet for free.
Can't comment one way or the other, but from earlier posts, I think the OP is a very decent person who deserves the compassion one has for fundamentally decent people, and not the contempt deserved by poseurs, con artists, and criminals.

I'm all for being sensitive and politically correct, but if you haven't eaten for three days, a forum is not the place to go looking for help. Walk out your door and beg if you have to to get some food. But asking a TOS question when you life is at stake says someone's priorities are highly messed up.
Anyone who knows and cares about him should get an address where they can send some help, money or pizza.

My first response was a genuine one re the ToS.
After that, if it got to be a joke thread is because ... guess what ... some people around here have a sense of humour.
No one has a gun to anyone's head to read anything on the forum. In fact ... if some people annoy you then you can ignore them.
I think the position of the OP was fr more about whether passing Lindens was seen as being dodgy. Well, I have passed Lindens back and forth with RL friends many times in world, for in-world things, and this would be considered to be an 'exchange between residents'.
Agreeing to do that for an outworld service is perhaps the snailmail to email version of net to net2.

I spoke with the OP. Apparently he's received over 400 pizzas in the last 24 hours and he wants to thank everyone who responded with compassion.
He'd have loved to do this personally but he can't reach his keyboard anymore.
