Is it against the TOS to give someone lindens and in exchange for them to order you a pizza in real world... so you can eat?
Not sure about the TOS, but I am starving, as day 3 rolls by of the lack of food in my life, I am desperate. But I do not want to break and rules and shall not if it does. YARGH, pizza places should open up in SL, so I can order pizza for myself,  Wish they took paypal... I hate being in New Zealand.-Matty |

This is HIGHLY illegal. Do not give someone lindens under any circumstance. Especially if it leads to ingesting pizza.

You give a gift of cash to someone in world. Because you like them. Out of world they order you a pizza. Because they like you. However, you aren't PAYING for a pizza irl with a Linden transaction in world are you? ARE YOU? (Just say no). Somehow I can't see the exchange above falling foul of money laundering legislation, personally, it's not like you are putting stolen funds from a stolen credit card onto another card for the purposes of comitting fraud or a crime. Unless you like mushrooms and anchovies of course. |

Thanks, and it was a serious question.There was a TV drama recently that portrayed I think Chinese business men transferring large funds internationally by using their own certificates. A courier would travel with this seemingly valueless relic or souvenir across borders and on a trust system the recipient would honour the transaction. Seemed a very neat idea and one, the law I think would have found huge problems fighting. Not worth it for a pizza though ... pie yes .. pizza no. _____________________
