Black Friday Protest

I don't recall the ToS being involved in the sexgen case, only the Bragg case. And, if I recall correctly, it was only the arbitration provision that was struck down in the Bragg case, not the entire ToS.

Isn't there any way that we can use violence to achieve this?

Well, we could all migrate to real life but I heard that's even buggier than SL. I've tried it and found that as the years wore on lag seemed to increase too.

You know violence never solves anything. It does, however make things more entertaining.

But it is easier to keep the griefers away. Usually one blast from my shotgun does the trick. And they can't make alts.

And of course, the USA is built on the premise that violence is the appropriate means for changing government tax policy.

Other principles of the founding fathers are; a) black people suck, b) women suck and c) people who don't own land suck.

Lemme tell you Sonny Jim. Owning land is not all it's cranked up to be. They've changed it, now not owning land is cool. Why pay taxes to do things like educate your kids, when the land owners can do it for you?

I'm confused now; do black people and women still suck then?

Connecting blogs of dissent is such an effective idea I see Torley picked up on the idea. After I posted that idea here I see now when we log into SL that there is a ad to go to torley's site and add your blog link. Seems the idea hit a nerve. Effective ideas usually do.

It was suggested that this would not be effective. Then some suggested that the most effective protest would be to delete their accounts. I disagreed and suggested everyone should blog in as many languages as possible about what they feel is wrong here - and attach links to each other's blogs. The effort could be entitled 100 BLOGS OF DISSENT.Then the nonsense started.

Sorry, you don't get to take credit for that. Vint Falken announced the mix and match thing before the open space announcement.

Not taking credit. Just stating that it was such a good idea that even the Lindens are now advertising it. So it cannot be knocked down like the other ideas about organized protesting were. Linking blogs of dissent that would be seen all over the world and updated as often as possible would be very effective to let Linden Lab know its customer base is VERY unhappy about things. .

Are you trying to fill as much screen space as possible with those banners? Honestly, I do not mind banners, after all I use one myself. But your postings tend to fill up half my screen with just the banners, leaving not much room to read what you have to say

Furthermore, withdrawing as much money as we can sucks, that has already been determined. Getting people organized to blog about the Linden policies, seems quite an effort too, but I wish you luck. On a side note, I doubt it would have any effect. LL does as they see fit, and so far SL improved compared to a year ago. So they are not doing that bad a job. And however I still hate their decision about the OS sims, I still am pleased with the company for providing SL.

LOL. Sorry. I am not much of a Photoshop artist. To be truthful I make these on powerpoint. I will try to re-size them more.

I like my iPhone but I am not going to sit back and allow that company to rip me off without making quite a bit of noise also.
