Though like everyone, I sure have so much to get to in SL, I do wish to give huge thanks Matthew Linden for stepping up and trying to keep us all informed. Way to step up Matthew, even with us all standing about outside holding lit torches stomping to get in the gates

Just tried, can't get on either. Plus, a friend of mine has beeing trying to create an account, and he can't. The registration keeps telling him that the "ReCaptura" words entered are incorrect, but I'm darn sure he knows how to spell those words

Been trying since 9:20am UK time, dunno how many times i have tried logging in usualy to get cannot connect to SIM message. Now it just hangs about a 10th along the login bar. Way to go, just finishing a big build to present and the meeting supposed to happen in 10 minutes, well guess that one isnt going to happen.
Any Lindens reading this, could they update the blog with some info on who its effecting, is it random pot luck, or a set of users. At least then we'd know if we should bother trying to get in until they say they fixed it. I have two colleagues who got in first time round no problem. They are both in the US though. |

Try letting it just sit on the login screen where it says "second life may appear frozen". I waited for a few minutes and read the forums in the background until I heard the familiar logging in, connecting to region sounds.

Unable to log on/unable to connect to a simulator

Hi,
I'm having the same problem, SL needs to fix this. Not very pleasant and would be nice to know it's affecting others not just me. Even received a message from SL that I need to upgrade my video card. Oh give me a break on all my computers or lap top and all at the same time. Only thought of checking on forum so in a way, Im relieved but annoyed too. Hope to be back on soon. |

I know I can never do those in Opera for instance. As to the original question......... yes I'm in, but it took a while. _____________________
