Can anyone log in now?

Looks like the matince they are doing right now has kinda wiped out SL..even transactions are down as well as log ins

I've been building, making transactions and logging in and out of my alts and the only problem I've encountered is a delay logging in which just happened. I've even received my stipend already.

I've been trying to log in for about 25 minutes now

Ditto, grrr "faild to connect to a simulator"

Thought it was just me.

I just got 'login failed, unable to connect to simulator' twice. But 27,661 residents were online.

I get the same error message, havent been able to log in now for about half an hour

I'll have one of what Bradley's been drinking!

It's been the same number for about 40 minutes

same here. no matter which sim i choose i get the 'cant connect to sim' message

interestingly? there has been 27,661 logged in for ages. so no one can logout either?!!!!! (wonders if this is a new way to reduce lag!)

I've been getting the same thing as well. though it sometimes says it's logging me out, and my account won't be ready till 14:05 SL time. so 12 hours from now..

I've tried about 50-60 times in the last hour, and have been getting this message consistently. I have tried sims on four different continents and a couple private estates. No love.

I've entered a few sim names that I'm pretty sure aren't real (unless there is an "Aunt Martha" sim), and get the same message.

Interestingly, although I can't get in, my stupid test-bot alt can, without any trouble!

I know. Just couldn't resist.

Why can't they just be honest in their posts and say:

[2:44 AM PST] We still have no clue what we're doing but we'll keep posting this to give you false hope. Our engineers are WILL be working hard when they wake up from their break and/or they answer their phones to come back to the office ....

too much information!

Thanks for contacting us regarding the issue of not being able to log in.

If you are having issues with logging in, teleporting or with the search option this is becasue Linden Lab are doing essential maintenance on second life. Any updates will be posted on the blog on www.secondlife.com.

However this is only affecting some avatars, not all of them. So some people may be successful with the above actions.

Please reply if you are still having issues within 24 hours.

I was kicked out of SL, get same msg - can't connect to simulator. This has been going on for over an hour.

No luck getting in, been about a half hour now. I have been trying different start locations but not sure if that works anyways. Oh well, a chance to browse the forums.
