Do what I did, last week I made a flower pot, then a deck, then completly changed the deck to a new and improved deck and over the weekend, I made heaps of mods to my house, inside and out. Mods I have always wished I knew how to do.

Until about a week ago I have never even looked at building anything in SL. I just starting rezzing prims and playing with them.

I am planing to build a house soon, hey if it doesn't work out, no harm done, I can delete it :)

Good luck, you'll have so much fun!

Okay, I never thought I would say this, but after over one and a half years in SL, I am finally tired of shopping
I will be more than happy to do it for you - just send the L$ to me and I'll buy what I think you might like. Unfortunately, most items are no-transfer, so I could encounter some difficulty in getting the items back to you.
:D

I have started learning a bit about building by tearing my current house apart and putting it back together, with a few minor changes. Everything is copy/mod so I don't worry much about destroying it. I have also started playing around with scripting a little and reviewing the tutorials on making clothes to see if I've much interest in those areas.

In March I will have been in SL for two years, so decided that it was maybe time for me to start looking at the creation side of SL. I, however, have not tired of shopping, so I am currently finding it difficult to devote much time to these new pursuits.

For those that are tired of shopping (or at least were tired of shopping............)

I had been reading the Blake Sea thread with great interest. Went down and paid the $L250 for my own Flying Tako and I just spent over an hour having the most fun I have had in a couple of years. Would have to count them up but I know I went somewhere like 40 or 50 sims. Watched the sun go down, IMed friends and and even chatted with Marianne for a few minutes, thanking her for the boat recommendation while sailing under the beautiful Windlight Moon. It was simply wonderful!

Course now I want a bigger boat and need to go shopping again :D

I think I got the bug when I tried my hand at putting in my own stream/creek a couple of weeks ago, turned out quite nice :) And it was a lot of fun. Thanks for the advice.

Haha, yesterday I did take Oryx's suggestion and went to a sandbox and took one of my copy/mod houses and did the same thing. Learned a lot just in an hours time. Today, going to check out some of the tutorials...thanks :)

No, no...the solution to everyone's shopping blahs is clear.

CARTEL SHOPPING TRIIIIIIIIPPP!!!

I suggest this coming Saturday, January 31, at 9:00 am SL time. I will cross post this to a new thread. Comment there, please, NOT here. We need to know:

1. Is this a good time for you? If not, what date/time works?
2. Where do you want to go? I suggest a potpourri...one hair place, one skin place, one animation or dance place, one men's place, one shoe place, one clothing store.

That's a great idea! Cross post it to the new group if you want to - or even, just the thread about it. =) Group shopping...joy.
