Well they have no tag above their heads. Where else would I click? Ya think that would be a good defence in court? ![]() I have also tried the camera controls on the TV....to no avail.... _____________________

Several things:
1) I actually signed a document at work FaTeke Wottitz. Luckily I realized what I did and was able to white it out. lol 2) I've started welcoming my coworkers back when they come back from a break, "Welcome Back!" LOL 3) The other day I was standing, talking to a friend, when I realized I was mimicking the stand animations of my avatar. 4) Just today I was on the phone and needed to transfer the person and I said, "Hold on and I'll teleport you over" Good lord I could on and on. This is either am amazingly funny thread or an amazing scary one! FaTeke _____________________

Last week I was looking out a window at some really nice trees and wondered if they were made by Lillith Heart.

I've also gotten smail mail under this name, too. Last week I was looking out a window at some really nice trees and wondered if they were made by Lillith Heart. There's tree not far from here that is the spitting image of her extra large English Oak. I walked by it one one very pretty day, and caught it out of the corner of the eye, framed with blue sky and white, rolling clouds, and thought for sure I was seeing a landscape under windlight. I'm sure I needed a facelight. ![]() Mari _____________________

I'm starting to feel strangeness when I find I'm as tall as (if not taller than) the people around me. I've actually had the thought... "Oop... Too tall... Gotta toggle down to my main... Wait... *pinches self*" (=_=)y _____________________

When I'm out and about I think of everything I see in....
How many prims would it take to make one of those? and I start counting... Also.... That would be an easy texture to make..... Then all I can think about is getting home so I can start building the item. |

Then all I can think about is getting home so I can start building the item. I've done that many more times than I wish to admit. It's worse when I'm with RL friends who use SL. Then we end up "group dissecting" an object. Mari _____________________

You know you have been in SL too long...
when you try to alt zoom outside of the game, within other applications.. when you try to cam around a webpage or other application when you marry your SL sweetheart in RL when you seriously consider getting a RL name change to your SL name because you identify with it much more than you RL name and my worst one.... driving along, see a building with balcony's outside windows, but no doors to them (decorative only) and your first thought, which you actually put into words... is... "look at those balcony's.. what a waste of prims" _____________________

this has happened now and then ... seeing a vacant lot for sale and wondering how many prims it supports. Yes I have done that, a new strip mall going in and wondering how many prims each shop would support. |

I recently moved in RL, and while assessing how much cable I would need to run from the livingroom to where I have the pc in the bedroom, (keep in mind that I'm American and normally think in feet) I start to think to myself... this wall is about 10m.
Also guilty of trying to zoom in on web pages. You go through the Walmart clothing section and instantly think BIAB. _____________________

Another one from me...
Seeing a wall, etc and thinking, "That would be a great texture!" Geekiest example of above? Photosourcing the bricks of a building at 945 Battery Street, in SF. _____________________

Okay, I know we've had topics like dis before, all the way back to the general forum. But it's been a while, an I dun wanna necropost. So, my question is this. You know when you've been on Second Life too long when..." What little bits of SL have ended up in your firest life and leave you wondering if maybe you've been inworld just a bit too much? To start, someting that jes happened to be a bit ago: In th' borin place, on top of one of the filing cabinets, was a bottle of water. Not one of those prepackaged ones, but clearly a bottle someone brought with them. No one seemed ot know who's it was. For a moment, I had the thought of right clicking and inspecting -- just before realizing that, no, you can't do that with first life objects. Would make some things easier though, huh? Anyway... how about ya'll? The other day while I was "out" in the "real world" I almost blurted out "Wow! I love your skin! Where did you buy it?" And I do not recall ever asking that question in SL (though I have mentioned liking someone's skin, and I have created several threads asking for skin ideas). I am just very happy I caught the comments before they got out. Just imagine if someone came up to you in real life and started making comments about your lovely skin, and asking questions like "who made it", or "where'd you buy it" or . . .. Or just imagine if you were the one to ask said questions, make said comment. I am soo glad I stopped myself. hehe _____________________

When reading Trout's post about his new desk and how hard it was to move, wanting to suggest he uses edit mode.

When you punch the glitterball at a club when you want to dance.
When you ignore the RL washing-up because you've got to finish off making your set of SL saucepans. _____________________

this has happened now and then ... seeing a vacant lot for sale and wondering how many prims it supports. Vacant lots... I see them in my town, and in the back of my head, I want to buy them up so I can improve my own home, since after all they're in the same sim, and I should be able to add to my prim allotment. Seriously. _____________________
