There has been a 'HERE' link on the tr.im/Zindra blog to exactly this 'How do i request land
on Zindra'. But the 6 d) and e) is new. Guess they just added this silently like as they started extending parcels into water silently.

My Ticket (Post#49 above) has just been closed with:

"We will endeavour to acommodate everyone's wishes so that the move to
Zindra is as smooth as possible. when the time is right to submit land
requests you can put down the requirements and we'll do what we can."

You can submit a "I have questions about Adult Content Policies and/or Zindra" ticket.
After nearly 48 hours, you may get a response - but not any answers.

On the plus side, they didn't call you a degenerate smut-peddler. (As far as you know, anyway.)

Yes. That's certainly true.

On the other hand, they did something far, far more insulting.
They tried to feed me shit.

We have no system. We'll endeavour to wing it. Trust us.

On another positive side, they didn't refer me to the section of the Knowledge Base where I could find out how to submit a ""I have questions about Adult Content Policies and/or Zindra" Ticket.

The knowledge base article says first come first serve.

https://support.secondlife.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=4417&task=knowledge&questionID=6345

It doesn't mention anything about trying to match what you currently have.

So I get to take Monday off from work or risk getting crap for land?

Wiki Page Created to Document Move Requests and G-Team Actions
06-25-2009 03:58
From: Meade Paravane

Maybe they're planning on rejecting most swap requests? Par for the course there, I guess. That or not actually rejecting swap requests but ignoring them instead.

I have created a wiki page to collectively document how they actually *act* in response to all these new adult rules. That includes how they handle move requests, and actions on Mature and PG land:

http://www.slapt.me/wiki/index.php/Governance_Team_Actions

http://www.slapt.me/wiki/index.php/Governance_Team_Actions

Current headings are:

* 1 Zindra Move Ticket Response Times
* 2 Zindra Move Ticket Approved
* 3 Zindra Move Ticket Declined
* 4 Told to Change Search Listing on Mature or PG Land
* 5 Told to Remove Content on Mature or PG Land
* 6 Content Removed or other Change Done Without Warning by G - Team

(You can create new headings if those dont apply to your situation)

The idea is to help other people know how they are actually handling these adult changes.

(@ Sling and Jenny, could you post your ticket experiences there, or give me permission to copy your forum posts?)

As someone who has never put in a ticket for anything in my three years of being here, can someone please tell me the exact process for this? Is it an inworld process or somewhere here linked to my web account? I want to know so I can hop right to it when requesting a relocation.

I am also very concerned with this phrase in the knowledge base article "If you have commercialized adult content or services on your parcel, and are therefore significantly impacted by the introduction of Adult Oriented content controls to Second Life, we'll provide you with land equivalent to your existing parcel(s) on Zindra, free of charge." I am concerned they will be using it to turn down many requests. I am wondering how exactly they will be defining commercialized and significant impact.

I just hate all this not knowing. I have not been this upset with LL in a long time. I don't actually think I have ever been this upset with them. I loved the idea of a simple T.o.S. guiding us, I guess that turned out to be way too naive.

As a positive person I try to keep it positive, so let me end this post on a positive note. I am enjoying seeing a continent emerge. I think LL has learned something in these years about creating new mainland. sure it may not suit everyone, but they have listened that people want some structure, some Linden content, and a variety of natural features.
