ya i know that part about being on fox or where ever they had some interview at some point does hurt the article but all of it above is pretty factual and public record..
I actually hated seeing them put that in there as well because i felt the same way..they just clouded everything..
I just didn't want to edit things out and have someone come back and say..oh you forgot this little tid bit..

Best of luck to Tennessee, but I'm pretty sure the Supreme Court, if it gets that far, will end up saying something like "and those guns will stay in Tennessee? Yeh, right..." dressed up in appropriate legal mumbo-jumbo.

the thing is in Tennessee there is still a lot of open lands and foothills and mountains and predators and other good reasons that people still do carry guns..

i have to carry one because we have mountain lions and rattlers and things on our ranch which connects to my land...
ammunition is going through the roof because of federal hikes..
so the state making their own ammunition and firearms it's believable here..we have a lathe for barrels ourselves and my father along with a lot of people we know are licensed to make their own fire arms..even federally..
We just want to get away from paying federal hikes for something we produce for ourselves and use for us..

if someone takes our ammunition out of Tennessee then they would pay for breaking the law if they were caught..

i could see it being laughed at for a state that is more cities and suburbs and less wild life..but we do use them with good reason here..

But because those people sitting on that panel would not see that i guess i could see them laughing it out..if it did make it that far..so you are probably right..

I'm not arguing that the TN legislature is wrong, I'm simply guessing at what the Supreme Court is likely to come back with. Not because TN doesn't need the guns, but because TN couldn't prevent the guns from becoming involved in interstate commerce.
