*hangs upside down and waits for the mega hammer* Well, since we're all here.. and pretty much all bored, what really caused this silly thread?

Beyond this we have have no clue as to what happened. However, under most rental agreements the landlord typically makes clear that the rental agreement can be terminated at any time for any reason with no refunds.

Actually that's the one thing I object to in rental agreements...mine make it clear that there has be a due process before I'd ask someone to leave/evict them ... and I would most certainly give them their unused rental back. I'd consider it almost akin to stealing not to, tbh.

We'll forgive you.. this time ;)

Right, so Person A rented from Person B, then got burned in some way. If this thread is an example, Person A didn't read the covenant any more than Person A read the Guidelines listed at the top of the forum... Person B posted a few times in this thread, but neither wanna provide the juicy details.

Wow, we can create our own drama!

We don't know if anyone got burned. For example, the OP might have broken a condition outlined in the rental agreement and been evicted.

Note that the amount of money involved might have gotten the OP a mainland parcel. In other words, they had an opportunity to avoid coventant land or a rental parcel and, for whatever reasons, declined to do so. Having declined to do so, and having lost their rental parcel, they now wish to cry "sour grapes."

Hmmm.. crunchy fried green tomatoes. I want for dinner, I think.

Usually, they are used as a side dish with a meat, preferably fried chicken or pot roast. I sometimes prefer to make them the only dish, because right now, I have plenty of green tomatoes (so, it's free food!). Simply slice the green tomatoes, flour (or use corn meal, I love 'em both ways) them and then skillet fry them. Great tangy flavor.

Ah, the wonders of Southern comfort foods!

A person who very likely will eat a snickers bar with a fork and knife is in no position to criticise american culinary practices.

Reverting back to my sweet self, I have to admit I'm convinced you are my soulmate, Bodhi. The very first thing I thought when I saw that pie was "Damn, they didn't even weave the lattice!" :D

OK, now it's soulmate or Grandma. I'm sure we'll sort it out eventually.

And as it seems everyone is getting hungry again, I invite you all to Denny's for assorted deep-fried goodies on a plate. My treat!

OOOOOOO! Onion rings! Definitely the way to my heart. Literally.

Speaking of American food... I could really go now for some corn bread with butter and some red beans and rice and a strawberry margarita and homemade peach cobbler and

and apple pie with a correctly organized lattice

and those dancing ice cream cones, they were wrong on so many levels, I love it.

Mr. Satan was actually the neighbor to my Gyeongju Gardens property. But if your friend in Nautilus is also a little dark, well... ;)

er let me take a stab at what these might be....

well I guess tomatoes are involved....

which means the rest is.... what?!! you guys merged tomatoes and armadillos?

so it would be some sort of armoured tomato, right?

I've managed to go most of my life without knowing what a tomatillo was. It was strange to find out they existed. Heard they have a good flavor, though I have never tried one.

But either way, my wash machine tub of tomato plants has plenty of green tomatoes to do the trick. (Yeah, a wash machine tub. My dad was a repair man and he had a couple from machines that were 'condemned.' I 'borrowed' one of them from him and use it as a planter. Holds a decent amount of plants, actually.)

For those that don't know what a tomatillo is: Originally used by the Aztecs and called Miltomat. It is Physalis ixocarpa; relatives are Chinese lanterns, cape-gooseberries and ground cherries. Available fresh from Latin American markets, this vegetable is specifically Mexican. Fresh tomatillos are decidedly superior to the canned for sauces.

I'd put up an image, but for the life of me, the code hates me.
