I said it before I will say it again... I use the term clique, if you like it or not will not change the fact I will use it... much like how someone told me in im, we use the term slut as a rating, too bad if you do not like it, we will continue to use it...

so... I guess your (general your) use of slut, is like my use of clique... doesn't mean to you (general you) like what it means to me... I know you were responding to Colette, but since I'm the one that does the slut ratings, I'll respond. I understand your use of the word clique, and I'm fine with your definition, although most of the people on the board who throw it out there use it as a derogatory term. What I found insulting about your post was what I felt was your offense at being lumped in with the people on the list. Like you couldn't bear for anyone to think you might be friends with any of the people listed there. You may not have meant it to sound elitist, but that whole "I run in different social circles" comment made you sound like you were sooooo superior. It bothered me. I didn't appreciate the snub.
