Guess you aren't invited either, that's what you get for being my friend.

And, it is absolutely worth it! :p

Just turn up at the Cartel Hangout on October 31st, any time after about midday SLT, if you don't get a formal invitation . . .

Pep ( . . . since you just can't get the staff nowadays to do this sort of thing.)

Well yes, if that's the wedding venue, I am in the group so hopefully I am welcome there, in general. Unless of course it's rented out for a special purpose. But since they've already advertised that party, if you derail it with your wedding, it won't be my fault if I'm there, I was actually invited to that. (((ooooh costumes!))))

Pep (he's not even making sense to the EFLers. )

ah...but surely you can understand a wee bit of confusion.....particularly after a few cocktails at a wedding.....and flirting with the wrong alt.

If that's mainland and room for 40 people isn't enough, I can accommodate 200 easily on the green at Caledon Oxbridge, by the village.

Plus put out group announcements to ensure a mindblowingly large turnout.

There's also a rather large bell tower nearby.

The bell shall toll for thee, Pep...

Well . . . Looking at the poll results so far, and the number who have reported receiving an invitation (i.e., "0";), that might be unnecessary. :(

I've heard of "exclusive" events, but this is carrying things a bit far . . .

I don't think he meant that, Laurin.

Pep (The phallic symbolism, that is. :p )

PS Although it seems to have attracted a very gender-confused Texan.

Maybe we can just tell them we eloped and they'll be distracted by the other Friday threads?

As a way of gauging who is "in" and who is "out" in this, our little forum community, I thought I'd post this poll. Laurin's nuptials with Pep are BOUND to be the social event of the year, so it's hard to imagine a better way to establish one's relative social status than by the appearance of that tidy little vanilla-coloured embossed invite in your PM box!

If you aren't too afraid to be outed as someone who didn't make the guest list ("There, there, dear! I'm sure it's still in the mail . . .";), let us know whether you've received an invite or not! And what your thoughts on the future of this glamorous pairing is likely to be!

(With apologies for the misspelling of "devastated" in the poll! EEEP! )

I see no Pie Option so will abstain ;) :p

OK, I'm just packing up at work anyway.

Why not just live in sin? But make sure he names you on his insurance policies before you poison his spotted dick.

Talc passed. :)

Just say the word and you'll have 3500 prims clear for setup on the green on the 31st, plus plenty of time to set up in advance (several days at least) just out front of Oxbridge.

No charges or any nonsense like that, naturally; this whole thing rather tickles me.

I could probably arrange the media also, and talk to Saffia ~ could Prim Perfect cover it?

Wot banlines? Free country! If you promise to show up I can let you be security with estate management access. Just don't delete the university please, or eject anyone who's 'sposed to be there. Well, not till the end, at any rate...

That would be a matter of opinion, yes? My opinion? oh my, fun...... :p /me smiles at Eli and 3Ring......Actually though, there really IS a Halloween party I think at the Hangout, so best watch your timing so you don't derail that with the wedding of the century.

I would inform Caledon and send messengers to Steelhead, Winterfell, Babbage, New Toulouse, and the Confederation of Democratic Simulators.

At very least.

Providing that this is all happening, of course. I need to be convinced of that :)

With regard to roses, seats for 200 and someone to marry you though, you are on your own.

Though we do have some Caledon residents who are also in the Church of the SubGenius, and I think a real member of the clergy or two (you might want to be careful, we don't want this to accidentally be binding in reality, do we?)

Well, they can plan their timing as they want, to do it around that. Not up to me!

PS Chris, whatever you do, don't advertise the Forum Cartel Hallowe'en Party as including the ceremony. ;)
Not a chance. I will be the star of that event and I do not plan to share my limelight.

:D

oh, I'm sorry....just a private joke that I still chuckle about.....seems that if a guy has a few too many cocktails at a wedding....his Alt radar becomes dysfunctional.

/me pats Pep's toupee...."there, there.....Ignorance is Bliss." :)
