I had a greifer caged and was ready to orbit him [...]

Something is wrong with this sentence. Aside from the spelling of "griefer", I mean.

"IP ban." Doesn't work. It can effect many more then the one individual. Out here in the country we have 28 of us with the same IP; given to us by the central router, or at least that's what I thought they said. If one of us got banned we all would be.
More over you wouldn't need a new comp, just a proxy or ghost app.

I wondered whether someone was going to point this out (I'm pretty sure you're the first.)

I also wondered why sending someone on a hilarious and fun ride into space would be considered any kind of threat? (Not that I would do it to someone even if I knew how to -- it was done to me, and I went back to ride again).

Adding to that: The viewer that dodges hardware bans. (not sure whether to name it publically, but if one person posting it will make hardware bans ineffective... it's not much use)

Any would-be police who show their faces on my damage-enabled parcel will be immediately "killed" and teleported to whatever area they call home.

The aliens aren't friendly. TO SERVE MAN is a cookbook.

A cookbook!

They can phone home while they hurtle through space after being blasted into orbit, if they like.

lol, my partner orbits me every time (well, not *every* time) I tug on her belly piercing. I'm beginning to suspect she has re-scripted it...

Hmmmm.... A "policeman" in uniform on my land?

I always wanted to ask a policeman to strip down.....

If he did so, I would of course freeze, eject and ban him for broadly offensive behavior on my land....

:P

A lot of people abuse power. give them a gun and a badge and they will act just as bad as any griefer. I wouldn't trust anyone calling themselves a cop in SL. Now if the police force was a security group for a specific sim then if i am in their sim i will abide by their rules but outside that sim i will tell them to p**s off. Basically what could they do to the griefers that i can't already do to them myself? File reports? Pft... So can i. Shoot back? They will get banned too.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
