I have never mentioned the name of a vendor. My only interest is US$24.

The vendor and I have had several communications about the product. There is no ambiguity here. The vendor is a thief.

That's just your story, which we have no particular reason to believe - not that you want us to believe it anyway.

Even if you were sent your kidbot kit, you would have still got ripped off, cause everything to make a kidbot is freely available.
I disagree :) Even if the kidbot is exactly what you say it is, not everyone has the knowledge to put one together, so a working one is worth money. 6000L is very steep though. But, if the kidbot is the same as the one in another recent thread, then there's much more to it that what you described. If my memory is correct, they have an RL server backend - at least that's the impression I got from the thread.

It went down in price then. A couple of pages back it cost you 6000L. Now it's down to 3596 - or 2000 - I don't which is the price. Give it another couple of hours and you'll be able to pick one up free :)

If you've ticked off the Merchant as much as you have most of the folks here...forget about getting your $24.

IMs often get capped, once an IM queue is full new IMs are shunted directly to the trash and do not get read by anyone.

From the looks of things with the owner whom I shall not name might have their hands full with running their business and I'm willing to bet their IMs get capped within a short amount of time. The best way to send a message to them would be to put what you want to say in a notecard and drop it on their profile window.

As for your purchase I recently ran into an issue where a vendor took my Lindens while the asset system was under extremely heavy loads (which can and does happen) and did not send me my purchase. From what I could see from the vendors setup in the shop I shall not mention... they work the same way as any vendor, even my own vendor.

The vendors work like this:

You see a shiny thing you want.
You pay the vendor for the shiny thing you want.
Based on the vendor's script if you pay too little it will refund you what you paid. If you pay too much it will refund you unless otherwise specified.
Vendor then either pulls from its local inventory or from a remote server in SL and delivers the shiny thing to you.
And then there will be cake.

Now throw in lag and issues with the asset system and the payment might go through, but the shiny thing might not be delivered for up to 15 minutes or more, or not at all if the vendor thinks it was sent and received. It has no way of knowing if you received the shiny thing or hit the Decline button.

In the case of the product mentioned I believe something went wonky after payment. Check your secondlife.com account's transactions page. If the payment went through and the vendor did not follow through then send a polite notecard explaining what you tried to purchase to the business owner, together you'll work something out.

Being a butt crumpet about things won't get you a refund or an agreeable resolution worked out. Remember be civil!
