Kids Bot Vendor is a Thief

I paid L$6,000 to a Kids Bot vendor and she has not delivered or refunded my money after a month while the vendor continues to promote sales. I submitted an abuse report but still no action.

Did she give a reason? I have not had business dealings with her but I did talk to her one time and did not get the sense of someone who would run a con.

Have you contacted Naughty Dreamscape about this? I am only a slight acquaintance of hers, but I know she has been involved in a variety of legitimate SL businesses. I would first suspect a communication problem, most likely secondary to the uproar about the product. If you haven't already, perhaps repeated NCs will result in a reply.

You're absolutely right. Never heard the Vendor's side, even wonder if the vendor was even contacted in the first place.

The OP did not emtion anything about any contact, yet calls the Vendor a thief.

I take it as implied that the vendor was contacted; it would be illogical to be upset by the lack of a response had this not been the case.

Granted we don't know the full story here, but let's not be over hasty with the pitchforks and rope.

I believe the two previous Kid Bot threads were about the vendor refusing to sell, not failure to deliver.

By the way, an Abuse Report in this circumstance receives no action. Any problem you have with a purchase from an in-world vendor is considered a "resident dispute," something which Linden Lab explicitly states it will not act upon.

You can get money back from a fireplace, if there isn't currently a fire in it.

I gave the vendor an explicit deadline of September 25, 2009, to deliver or refund. Neither was done.

Please check your facts before stating so confidently incorrect information. The abuse report has a category for payment for product which was not delivered.

Really, name calling is unnecessary warmonger or not. Annaleigh was just trying to be helplful and Benski was bringing up a valid point. No one hasn't heard the side of the vendor. Perhaps someting irl (as it should take presidence) prevented the vendor from making the delivery.

It amazes me how some forget that there is an outside life to sl and how quick some are quick to point fingers and call someone a thief.

Please try to settle down warmonger, there is probably a very good explanation for the delay.

Again, this about US$24. This is what people are paid in my country for doing one day of hard work. This is half of the minimum wage in my country for one week of work.

Almost half the world — over three billion people — live on less than $2.50 a day.

Everything about sl is about money.

Being funky, foul and rude to those here that are trying to offer some assistance will not get your money back or the item any sooner.

The question about do I thinking I am talking to a child, no I don't because the children I know may have better manners and not call people names ESPECIALLY if they are seeking something from others.

If you couldn't have parted with that money, then you shouldn't have. Do you think any thing you buy in here will stay here as long as you want it to? Items disappear from the servers, some never get delivered, and in the end, you'll lose everything when LL no longer offers this service.

While everyone here can understand your anger, you should not be directing it at them. You asked a question, people gave you their honest answers. This is not a customer service line, nobody here is affiliated with LL and they certainly aren't paid to answer your questions. You are not our customer, we are all peers. Until you can understand that, you won't gain much from RA.

And the vendor's response as to why that deadline was not met, an arbitrarily defined deadline by you, I might add, without any opportunity for any input from the vendor, was?

Considering the attitude you are throwing at people who are giving you frank, honest answers to your question, obviously you are not a child unless you are only two years old.

The main purpose in making this post was not to solicit advice or help from anyone but to publicize the dishonesty of a vendor. No comments are needed.

Dishonesty which your original post has done absolutely nothing to make anybody believe. This is also resident answers. A place where people actually help each other, or have you somewhere down the years forgotten what such a concept even is?

Was the deadline in a Notecard or IM? Not talking down to you. But alot of people think the everyone receives IM, which is not the case and is a common problem.
