Jerks don't require specific gender or sexual orientation. I know this from personal experience. But I will say those with more more male hormones tend to exhibit certain "Jerk" behavior Be they butches or biological men.

From: Isabeau Imako Very true FD!! I know a few 'jerkettes', too. I have lived as Male for over fifteen years. In my former life I lived as female for long time. I never really got what guys went through until after my transistion and hormonal changes. Some of worse experiences I must say around deal with jerks were female. Yet I was equally uncomfortable with the male jerks too. I was always thought women for some reason should be smarter then the guys. Guys get really stupid when their hormonal surges get the best of them. Mix with that with certain cultural allowances Men are allowed to do or behave like it can also create jerky behavior. Some men are taught not to be empathic and just be takers. Sex and sexual conquest equals being productive as male. Sadly its a culture thing. When women do this type of jerk behavior which is equally sometimes unpleasant they are called *itches..or worse.

From: Monalisa Robbiani Back then we had text chat, and that was very real, so real that I ended up marrying my ICQ partner. So please don't tell me an SL wedding is "just a game". I know many many couples on SL that became RL couples, and I am very happy for them. It can become very real, much more real than text chat! QFT I know a lot of people who got together - or consolidated a RL relationship - via IRC. Some of these didn't last, some did, about the same proportion as people who met anywhere else really.

I'm not sure I'd agree that more male hormones in a woman automatically manifests as being butch ... I know lots of straight women who have polycystic ovarian syndrome, for instance, who have a higher level of testosterone than the average woman and who certainly have HEALTH issues but not necessarily are morons as a result. Quite the contrary.

I know lots of straight women who have polycystic ovarian syndrome, for instance, who have a higher level of testosterone than the average woman and who certainly have HEALTH issues but not necessarily are morons as a result. Quite the contrary. Male hormones do effect the brain regardless of gender or sexual orientation. Same with female hormones. Of course there can be other factors. Men with higher female hormones sometimes find that they cry and become more emotional. Women with higher male hormones can become more complusive, aggressive, more preoccupied with sex which sometimes can lead to what is traditional called jerk like behavior. Straight women can be butch too. I am just saying that sometimes their is factor with our hormones that cause certain behaviors be it bonding or being overly sexual, etc. This is just from personal observations but it isn't the case for everyone either. I have female friends with polycystic ovarian syndrome often it causes more masculinization then traditional female, and it can effect behaviors. Being moron isn't gender specific thing but sometimes our needs and life factors determine this moron type behavior...sometimes its influenced by hormonal urges. Is all that I am saying.

Being Gay isn't a Disease, or an imbalance, or a psychological Syndrome that can be Cured. It's what we are, and what we were born to be. I Grant you, after a lifetime of Disappointments with Men, some Women Do take on the lesbian Lifestyle, I know quite a Few, But they Honestly still feel the old heterosexual itch if the right Type of man comes along. They aren't gay, they're just on vacation. Angel.

honestly I can't see why it's so hard for some people to manage relationships, how do you manage friendships at all? by spending the time that's available with the people you want to, when it's available, or by prioritizing at the moment... it's really not rocket science. @Susie: point well taken, just because the medium of interaction is a 'game', doesn't make the interaction less real for the people involved. @conan From: Conan Godwin 6 years. She's boring, but so are all women, and not having a female spouse makes producing an heir (the only benefit a man gains from a relationship) problematic. this explains so much... From: someone Naturally I have sufficient tact not to communicate to her how dull I find her[...] oh good, at least you show tact SOMEWHERE... ( I could only wish it were here ) : hrug::

sLove is wonderful...

Wow, I am shocked just shocked! Here I was thinking I was a FREAK for having emotional issues surrounding a recent SL relationship! HHHAAAA at least it is good to know everyone seems to be having similar experiences. Also a little odd that just as in RL you either click with someone in SL or you don't... has this happened to anyone? My first SL relationship was emotional and I had VERY physical reaction to things that happened in SL... it has amazed me. Stunned me in fact! Who knew it was possible? I would never be so open and honest and uninhibited in RL, and yeah that may be a little sad, but I can deal with it. I refuse to have any regrets about anything I personally chose to do in RL or SL, the other person should have no regrets at all either. You have the choice, you make the decisions, no one else. I would never intentionally hurt anyone if at all possible, but we know in life... any life... that it doesn't always work out that way. Our time is so limited- I will be happy with any love, sLove, and friendships that come my way.
