Or for anyone else with advice. Please understand that I am not starting this thread to fuel any arguments about vampires or bloodlines, having been around the block in that world, I certainly have formed an opinion myself. Long story short I'm gonna hang up the fangs and have some souls that I am willing to part with, I know that there is value in these and would like to sell them but have no clue to whom or what would be a fair price. I appreciate any thoughts or suggestions, whether posted here or sent to me inworld. Thanks, Cale

I've heard of selling your own soul, but selling the souls of other people? For shame!!!
Why not just give them back to the people you stole them from?

LOOOOL Selling souls! Smart! I just destroyed myself in Bloodlines because I got sick of meeting a$$hole people who obsessed over stupid numbers on a web page AND did what they could to manipulate and hurt people all to get a stupid....number on a web page!
I was hooked, but realized what a crap marketing scheme Bloodlines is. I wasted so much money. Ah well, I've learned.....
BTW, nobody needs Bloodlines to make friends. That's just an excuse!

To take yourself off, I guess complain endlessly to the makers of the game or buy a garlic necklace and completely removes you from the game.

Too bad we can't set it on fire and help it along with one heck of a roast. Don't bother with the garlic necklace, but feel free to complain to the maker of the system.

That is why I laugh at people who get bent out of shape because their SL avatar name is on their database. It seriously does not make a difference at all!

I never knew I had been bitten. LOL. I googled my SL name and only found it on google cache. "This is Google's cache of http://www.slbloodlines.com/blahblahblah=whocares=14yo=8. It is a snapshot of the page as it appeared on Sep 25, 2008 20:17:47 GMT. The current page could have changed in the meantime." Other names have been blurred to protect the dead. I guess I am a lost soul. Or... am I collected? Oh who cares. LOL.

From: Ceka Cianci first you say they are manipulate and hurt people..now you are laughing at them for being manipulated and hurt.. WHAT? LOL I said that there are people who join Bloodlines to manipulate others for the sake of a soul i.e. a lame number on a web site. How does that connect to people who complain about being on an insignificant database belonging to an insignificant game within SL that nobody has heard of...unless you're in SL? You cannot assume that every person that has complained about being in the database was manipulated. Maybe they made a mistake and clicked yes to a bite when they didn't mean to. Is that manipulation? No. That's inattentiveness on their part. I just think it's silly that people complain that their name is in the Bloodlines database when they should be worried about how many government databases their RL names are in. But, whatever, Bloodlines is crap. For those who enjoy wasting money i.e. I'LL BUY EVERYONE A HUD WHO LETS ME TURN THEM, more power to you. I wish I had that kind of money to waste. LOL AND NO....if I had the money, knowing what I know of Bloodlines now, I would not waste it on that silly pointless game. Yes, all games are pointless...but so is life. It's just...some things are more pointless than others. Where's my bottle of rum?

Thanks, Cale Ok, to actually answer you question because I don't think what you're trying to do is dumb, but actually smart. I destroyed myself and left my minions in the abyss. I should have been smart and sold them to the highest bidder. After all, this is what Bloodlines is about! I would basically look around for people who are desperate enough to gain souls at any cost. Try Treasured Vamps! I would make a deal that you will set liege to the highest bidder. They would A. have to pay you your fee and B. buy you that amulet so you don't have to drink blood anymore. Once you have the amulet, you're good to go. You don't have to participate in Bloodlines anymore and the person that paid you for the souls doesn't have to worry about your minions and souls being returned to the Abyss if you forget to drink. Also, this relieves you of any further responsibilities. OH, and have them get you a garlic necklace so you can be removed from the Bloodlines game.

Oh boy, to those of you worried about the souls going back to the proper owners, i can understand your point. These souls were from former vamps that had left bloodlines and sl, so no real harm there. So, no worries ok? And yes there is value to some for these souls, as they have been acquired by someone else now. Time for me to move on, perhaps hone my building skills. Have a great day, Cale

From: Quixotic Hermit Exactly! That is why I laugh at people who get bent out of shape because their SL avatar name is on their database. It seriously does not make a difference at all! Of course it doesn't. But that isn't how some people look at it...they actually feel that someone has "stolen their soul", at least in SL terms, and are concerned. Or they are nervous about being on someone's database. More importantly is the point I made earlier about how the news media would awfulize this.

I agree with you and Lindal Kidd. But, don't you accuse everyone who has played Bloodlines to be the types who will do anything for a bite. That's down right ridiculous. In the...OMG wait...WHOLE MONTH that I played Bloodlines, I only ever got one soul and only ever bit one person. Incidentally, in both cases it was the same person. They wanted to be a vampire. They saw my fangs and started talking to me about it. My clan tried to stick to RPing. We saw Bloodlines as a way to socialize. We didn't care about stats. We had a rule: NO UNSOLICITED BITES! Anyone caught doing it would get kicked out of the clan. So take your accusations elsewhere please! PS: I still stand by what I say in regards to getting bent out of shape over being in a database. It's silly to worry about pointless crap. Be thankful you didn't wake up in Iraq or the Gaza Strip today with bombs reigning down on your neighborhood. Then, maybe then, I might take your complaining seriously.
