Really...I just cannot stand know nothing losers coming to the forum and starting crap with regulars based on some B.S. inworld.

You are a trouble maker. Your post to Rhaorth shows it, and your OP in this thread confirms it.

I still would like to know what you did to get yourself banned from the sim you named. Please tell us. I think we all would like to know, given the history of similar postings by others--"I've been banned for no good reason!"--in these forums.

And there we have it.

Forum vendetta admitted.

This entire post is a spite post meant for drama. And the thread he necro-posted just to flame Rha was also just for drama.

Nice overlay for the underplay...

Some of you have the impression that these names were simply pulled out of thin air. I am on that list and I can tell you that it's a real problem. I was banned simply for rezzing something in an area which purportedly is a build/rez enabled sim. Other people have been banned for simply expressing an opinion. Others have been banned while not even being there, but simply disagreeing with the Avatar Island "helper" Rhaorth Antonelli. I won't go into the CyberExtruder product except to say you can get a lot better skin elsewhere for the 2700L charged for the minimal facial features the process provides.

Even though I wouldn't personally use the service, I have assisted countless people on Avatar island who wished to. My problem is with the Fuhrer like Rhaorth Antonelli who bans people on a whim, many of which are solely there to HELP the new players. This IS an entry point, yet she discourages people from helping people that that just enter Second Life. She proudly ponders in open chat, "wonder who I am going to ban today" and selectively enforces the rules where favorites continually receive a pass. Questioning ANYTHING earns an automatic ban. It's a classic case of, "absolute power corrupting, absolutely."

Many of the people at Avatar Island entered Second Life through that portal and learned the ropes from people there. We've forged friendships there and it's become a de facto hangout for many of us to converse with friends and offer help to the new players. But the atmosphere there has radically changed. Older players are now actually discouraged from helping new players in certain areas and BANNED simply for doing so. The originator of this thread is simply one of many (256 to be exact) who have done nothing yet have found themselves banned. In no way am I suggesting all 256 of those names didn't deserve to be banned. Many are there for legitimate reasons. But the person there has gotten drunk from the whiff of power and now simply bans people on a whim and many of us are sick of it. Can we simply go somewhere else? Sure! But we feel we are being treated unjustly and enjoy helping new players and hate that what was once a pleasurable experience is now being ruined by an individual who is supposed to be there to help.

File an AR with LL if you feel you have been mistreated. Naming names for the purpose of any negative criticism IS against the TOS, and will likely result in this thread being locked. There are property owners in SL who are ban happy, unfortuntely, and it is their right to ban anyone they wish on their property, for any reason. Your best course is to just move on, and tell all your friends about it, and never do business with them again. There are plenty of places to do this, but this isn't one of them.

Well, where there is smoke, there is fire.

But please take this fire elsewhere.

Someone owns that island who is not named Rhaorth Antonelli. Gather your evidence. Gather your chat logs. Gather your torches and pitchforks. Gather your lynchmob. And march on the mailbox of the sim owner.

And yea...What Ordinal said.

Clearly, you have not answered why you were banned. If that's all you did, why do you care that you were banned? Just go elsewhere. And feeling that you were treated unjustly, how does your feeling justify violation of TOS by posting so many names?

What you make clear is the increased likelihood that this is all vendetta by you against one or more persons connected with the sim from which you were banned.

Like I said to you before this post is not about Rhaorth but rather about Avatar Island. Rhaorth is just a by-product of the whole deal gone bad, and she does not help the community. But I digress..... So lets stay on track, thank you 8D

Again! I have not violated any TOS, I have done my homework.
04-29-2009 15:10
And yes I have my own sim now that I hang on, and no I do not care if I was banned... Please stop trying to make this post look as if its some personal vendetta.
I was direct and to the point in a professional way and it will remain just that.
I simply make points of question and you guys must do the rest.
Like any good/bad reporter I'm bringing things into light.

I think maybe Avatar island has many people walking on eggshells as a community and people are just scared to say anything.... Well that stops here today.

And as I have stated before the product/s that is offered by the cyberextruder needed a review and so I have brought that to the table, along with other interesting questions that im sure will be included within the thread.

No, a good reporter objectively tells both sides of the story. You are only telling yours. It may be true, it may not.

Basic Forum Policies and Etiquette

Private discussions – the forums are a public area for the Second Life community’s use. Individuals who have a dispute with each other have other channels of communication to discuss their differences or communicate – private messaging, IM within Second Life, or chatting within Second Life. Also, threads that are addressed to a single individual or group are inappropriate on the forums, this includes slander or "naming names" in a posts title, starting polls about a particular resident or group, etc.

Think before you post – sometimes in the heat of a passionate discussion you may be tempted to say something that on reflection you will regret. If your words do more harm to the community than they might give you pleasure in the short term, reconsider posting.

Flaming, Spamming, Trolling – Flaming (posting a message that is intended to incite anger or directly attack a person or persons), Spamming (multiple posts of the same topic or discussion), and Trolling (a post with an intentionally contrary opinion written with the intent of inciting or getting argumentative opinions) are strongly discouraged. If you think your post might be over-reactive, or that it might fall into one of these definitions, please reconsider posting.

Reposting – If a moderator removes your post, do not repost it elsewhere. Do not repost threads that have been locked or deleted and do not repost content that has been edited or deleted by a moderator. Furthermore, please do not post a "why did my post get removed" post. Send any further discussion regarding post removals to abuse@lindenlab.com.

Post in appropriate places, for appropriate reasons – The forums are split into separate topics. Please do not post discussions into forums that are clearly designed for other discussions.

Advertising - Advertising is not allowed on the forums. Posts containing Spam, real-world commercial advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are expressly forbidden. Also, please do not post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal. This includes using the forum private message system to spam other members.

Some News channels paint a poor picture and some news channels paint a good picture.
The point is nobody was making light of anything. The owners of Avatar Island have been sweeping people under the carpet.
I could post the personal emails that I recieved from the company directly but Thats a TOS violation, not to forget and mention the 45 minute conversation I had on the phone with the company owner Captain Borgnine, who told me personally that he really does not care about customers or the few that have had problems with the product.

This company has had its sim for 6 years and I have never seen anyone with the product using it for any avatar, um maybe one and the results where well can I say embarrassing
Even the one sim employee/helper does not wear the product, Rhaorth..... emmm ??

Let me try this again for you:

We do not care

Wij geven niet

Nous ne nous inquiétons pas

Wir interessieren uns nicht

Δεν φροντίζουμε

Non ci preoccupiamo

私達は気遣わない

우리는 걱정하지 않는다

Nós não nos importamos

Мы не заботим

No cuidamos
---------------

Hopefully you understand now.

Bye.

One of my sim residents uses one; he loves it, wears it all the time. Looks just like him. lol Recommends Avatar Island to everyone that asks him about the skin. Point is different strokes, and if they didnt' have SOME satisfied customers out there, they really wouldn't have remained 6 years. My resident likes them, recommends them, and I'm sure there are others or they really wouldn't have lasted.
