i thought it was gonna be a ruthed picture or something..that just looks like bad mid day lighting to me..some skins really express the mesh in the midday lighting..even before windlight it was terrible..
put on a malabu skin and you will see a real terrible mesh in midday if you think yours is bad lol.. i have to say i first thought the OP was just jking with the F-OFF remark.. Balance must be restored!!! *Ceka begins to spin and sparkles and Dust stir around her..In a strange chanting of the words *KuuuFung whaaaa moow chhhaaa quan!!Time to get the F-ON!!!! I think it's possible that we're now four pages into this thread and nobody is exactly sure what the hell we're actually talking about. Admittedly, this bit of human anatomy is not my strong suit, so it's perhaps not surprising that I for one don't see what we're supposed to be looking at. The story so far: There's a light patch somewhere on this chest. The light patch shows on all skins worn by this avatar. Everybody who looks at the avatar sees the light patch. The light patch wasn't there before. The light patch isn't caused by lighting conditions (as far as we know). So here are my suggestions. First, get rid of that hair and never wear it again. Admittedly, that has nothing to do with the problem at hand (unless the hair has a light source), but that hair is not going to help anybody's appearance. Who ya gonna trust about hairdressing, yourself, or a gay guy? Second, try a different shape. Heck, try Advanced / Character / Character Tests / Test Female. (That's Ruth's ugly stepsister.) See if she has a light patch, too. Third, recruit a friend or an alt who doesn't have the light patch, visit a good skin store, and both buy and try the identical demo skin. Now, who has a light patch? Fourth, since they're your skins anyway, make a copy and give it to the friend/alt from step 3. Does she catch the leprosy too? LOL Qie! (and good suggestions, too.) _____________________

i would say it's that choker she is wearing from how the light is hitting her and also could be the hair..if it is from the designer i think it is then it's the hair..i have the same light patter now that i see the lines better..
if you have only two items on and getting light only in a certain area on your body then it is 9.9.9999999 % of the time one or both of those items.. _____________________

please look at my picture at: http://home.no.net/gbmoss/chest.jpg Why am my chest like this, the picture is taken with midday setting and no facelamp or light source is present. it's not skin related as i tried different skins including the demo skin i have on the picture. I'm not sure when this happen but i noticed it yesterday, several other people can also see it, so it's not something with my computer. I hope someone can shine some light on this and tell me what is wrong. I have also tried my main skin on my alt (i'm the maker) and the chest is still the same... please someone help as now i'm resticted to turttle neck tops  Its a condition of how SL lights your Avatar. Its always been there, its just more noticible nowadays with recent viewer changes. It will exist regardless of the skin you use. If you squash your boobs together it will be less noticeable - but your squashed-together boobs will look silly. Turn your Avatar 90 or 180 degrees the dent will magically disappear. ----------------------- Yes, gentle readers - this is one of the reasons people used Body Lights to go with their Face Lights. Yet another issue with the Avatar mesh thats been deemed from on-high that we must "just live with". |

To the original poster. I have the exact same thing going on, so it's not just you.
I tried a bunch of different skins on that are in my inventory, and of course, my favorite one shows this the most. It is a light skin. Some have it, some don't. It's not a undershirt layer. I have a little thickness on my body and only a little fat. Obviously keeping your shirt on helps, but there is a line on my neck, which I assumed was from the skin (I don't think so now.) I have been considering becoming a scarf whore...lol. |

I read "How to Win Friends and Influence People" when I was about 10 I think. I can't be sure if I'd agree with everything now but I suspect I would. I do know that it helped me a lot. _____________________
