A couple of years ago I watched a documentary on UK's Channel 4, in which a madam of a brothel ('Escort Agency') who was previously a prostitute in the 60s, was saying that back in the 60s guys only wanted one of 3 things, a shag, a hand-job or a blow-job. Nowadays, she says, through the proliferation of pornography via the internet, guys are now coming with clips on their cellphones, and saying 'that's what I want'. The girls are now being coerced into performing these scenes (or they get no work), and the still reluctant ones are being 'persuaded' by pimps to comply.

I could not find the actual programme in a Google search, but I did find exactly the same findings here, scroll down to 'Prostitution'. Read it, and still tell me that porno plays no part. Better still, tell the girls involved.

Sure there are a bunch of Gor sims, but the only connection is that they put the word "Gor" in their descriptions. There's no central authority. Nobody gives permissions or guidance. The gorean forums are great, but most people don't even know they exist.

If I wanted to talk to everyone in Gor I don't know how I could do it.

IIRC he was convicted. You are not allowed to consent to be eaten in Germany.

It's an extreme case, but in the UK we have a law (can't remember the name of the law but it's commonly known as the "Spanner" legislation) that says you are not allowed to consent to bodily injury that is not "trivial and transient" or something. The original case stemmed from a police raid on a BDSM gay club.

This is a constand annoyance of mine in rl in this country (UK). People are gradually giving up any pretence of individual responsibility. "It's always somebobdy eles fault, and why did the government not do something to prevent it?" seems to be the mantra.

i think i will use my tummy turning senses to say that going to that link i may not like what i see or read..so i will using my common sense and tummy senses avoid clicking that link since i have been well informed of what may be there..no matter how much i really want to lol.

Actually, now you mention that, I remember talking to a lawyer friend of mine saying something similar here in Australia.

From what a Vietnam vet I used to know, told me, brothels back then (at least overseas) offered a wide variety of things I am still not sure the definitions of. That would've been in the 1960s.

Not saying your assertion isn't also valid Rock - just that there are other possiblities than that story allows.
