Congratulations, you're well on your way to having a prim baby! Enjoy 3 weeks of pregnancy, followed by an ugly, overly-scripted grouping of prims that feels the need to spam things that noone cares about every 30 seconds. Things like "baby is hungry" or "baby is crying"! Just like really being a parent!

I'm curious.... are prim babies no transfer? If someone wants to hold the "precious thing" do you have to say "sorry, no transfer" or maybe you RP being an overprotective parent. If they're no copy, it would kind of suck to lose it somewhere. "Ahh frack, I rezzed my baby in Crack Den and the sim ate it.... have you seen my precious?"

I was shoppping today and this small child was in her mothers cart and just screaming (crying those big tears) for some chocolate, then her mother gave her the chocolate and she started screaming for yogart.... omg... You know those spams into chat are not all that different from RL.....

Depends entirely on how you do it.

My "Pregnancy" carrying my SL daughter, Reisuki, lasted a full 5 months (which in my opinion is "full term" for a furry species), and involved no scripted stuff to speak of. Conception through birth was via text roleplay, while my appearance matched my "condition". I custom-made 5 successively "more pregnant" shapes based on my original shape, and changed which one I was using based on how many months along I was. When my "due date" came, I obtained two pose balls that allowed me to sit in the right position for holding a baby while nursing, or to stand while holding a baby, and a friend made a swaddled prim furry baby for me that was actually rather cute.

After a month or so of having the prim baby around, in my arms or in a crib, Reisuki started logging in with her own account, using a Tiny avatar. About a year after that, she made a "teenager" form for herself. Now she varies between teenager and young adult forms. My! They grow up so fast!

*grins*

No annoying scripted gadgets required at all!

Extremely cool.

I gave up on my prim baby reminded me to much of the kids tamagotchi. Had to feed it change it burp it so he is happy sleeping in a nice warm folder
