A double ditto on this. LL has been extremely tolerant in my opinion and have only vaguely set guidelines for the protection of the company when they have been forced to by events that occurr outside of SL. Put this in line with the other 20 SL killers waiting in the wings to bring down our metaverse...

The practical issue in the Sexual Age Play ban is there is a portion of the Community that is simply too stupid to have the power to get other residents investigated over who they cyber and what avatar they wear when doing it.

i didnt miss anything. There is nothing wrong with adult sexuality even when the adults involved are infact adult babies btw which is a form of bdsm. i heard 80 percent of the sl kids are in fact adult babies who engage in sexual ageplay of some type, the ones who arent obviously have their own reasons as issues for not expressing their sexuality. But do adults cut off their gentials when they log in? no . . and that includes sl kids. if you say otherwise you are lying because everyone on adult grid is supposed to be over 18 in rl. This entire thing is out of control and insane.

Well that debate is over and done with. LL has determined they cant allow Avatars that portray children allowed to be involved in sexual depictions.

They aren't going to change their mind on that.

To quote from the Community Standards document, "... or anything else broadly offensive must be contained within private land in areas rated Mature (M)." I'd interpreted that as meaning that potentially offensive activities were permitted in private. This policy 'clarification,' though, seems to reverse that in the case of avatars' in-character age.

I have (as an alternate account) a reasonably faithfully-portrayed character from a novel (which I wrote), coming from a medieval society where the standards were vastly different. It appears, however, that this character is now illegal, because they're fewer than eighteen years old (though of marriageable age back 'home') and the portrayal is accurate to the point of, being a peasant and not a wealthy one at that, they wear a knee-length sackcloth dress and no underwear. Even if I don't commit the crime of standing too close to a dirty picture, that alone would constitute sexual ageplay under the current policy, even in private land or whole sims that are restricted in their entry.

All I wanted to be was accurate; now I guess I'm a criminal awaiting account deletion the first time someone disagrees with me and seizes upon the excuse to abuse-report.
