Many thanks Rose Harvy Ok.... 1/4 sim = 3,750 prims = $20,000L /month 1/2 sim = 7,500 prims = $40,000 /month And you can pay $16,000L /month You want: (1) Low Lag; (2) Terraforming rights You have no idea when your business will be proftiable. So anyone dealing with you has to basically invest a minimum of $4,000L /month in your business with no guarantee or even an offer of sharing whatever profits you make to cover the 4k you are down per month. sigh...how can anyone trust you to be "professional" or more accurately, responsible with terraforming rights when you do not even care to correct the typos in your public message which is suppose to generate some semblance of interest... Good luck with that. * those prices are at "Cost" by the way...

When a sim owner can't make profit the sim/estate will be gone sooner or later. Then your business will be gone also. All the advertising work, LM's, notecards, ... to your place .... all gone

hi rose. is there any particular reason you need so much land/prims? you are wanting to pay for 20% of an island yet take 50% of its resources? i could set you up with something in your price range... maybe 1/4 sim. but not half a sim.

Thanks I'd never be cruel to a non-English-speaker for their errors, but I'd love to stab your English teacher for teaching you that u=you. Where did you learn that? Let me be the first to tell you that using "u" for "you" makes you appear very uneducated, and also possibly a bad potential partner in any business venture. I actually, upon a re-read, think you are lying about your language based on your pattern of errors. Edit -- Argh, typos. Hard to make a point with 'em.

As other writes say, an estate owner needs to run a profit or at least break even. In the end I prefer my estate owner to be profitable, as that is the best guarantee of continuation. So you will pay at least costing price, preferably a bit more then that.
Now lets say that 265 linden go into a dollar, makes 78165 linden per month. Or 5.21 per prim per month. Calculated back to a week price we get to 1.20. So lets say they rent it out to you at costing price.
4000 prims = 4800 linden per week 5000 prims = 6000 linden per week
1/4 sim would have 3750 prims and cost 4500 per week. For your 4000 lindens you could afford 3330 prims at costing price.
Now I would never want to rent from a landlord at costing price, because that would mean they eventually will not make it. They need compensation for parcels not rented at any moment, they need a buffer, and eventually they need to make a profit like any business. Of course they do it for fun as well, but a business needs to generate some revenue.
Your question implies that they trust on your business plans though. Be aware of the fact that most starting businesses in SL will never make any profit. And most people know that. So no matter how I admire your trust in your own plans, do not be surprised if no one will rent to you under the costing price with the hope you will eventually be able to pay more.
My advice: start smaller. Rent part of a homestead (probably can afford 1/2 a homestead with that budget) if you need the space, or rent a full prim spot you can afford if you need the prims. Build your business from what you can afford, not from what once may be.
Good luck, Marcel

$1.5L - $2.0L/prim does not cover Island Estate tier. Having a heart and being a charity are different things, and you are asking for the latter.

You are almost incomprehensible and certainly most people won't bother responding to you because you appear to be (at best) semi-literate, in addition to your ridiculous combination of neediness and aggressiveness. If English is not your first language then you are either arrogant in assuming that your English is good enough (it isn't!) not to have to give an explanation, or lazy in not saying so, either in your original post or in your forum profile. Pep (I think we *do* know enough about you to say quite a lot!)

The 40k is a monthly price, the price per prim mentioned was weekly. She doesn't have 4k per month, but 4k per week to burn Per month you could not break even when asking 5 linden per prim, 40k is indeed about half the cost price.

However good my German was I wouldn't go on a German forum, post semi-comprehensibly and then complain when someone called me out on it. Pep (That you can understand her perhaps means she is pitching her request at the right level)

Pep (That you can understand her perhaps means she is pitching her request at the right level) Well as it's above your level of comprehension then I guess she is pitching her request at the right level indeed.

Pep (Not just foreigners who appear illiterate, eh?) Glad to see that you admit you have difficulty conversing with people and your dig at foreigners says a hell of a lot about how nasty a little person you are.

Pep (I am by *no means* a little person!) PS If you were literate you would have understood that I wasn't having a dig at foreigners.

Pep (I am by *no means* a little person!) So then you are acquiescing to the nasty part? Honesty of that level is quite noble at times.
