From: Pserendipity Daniels Yep, 'cos men know exactly what they want all the time.
Pep (Sex, sleep, beer, food, sport, tv and to be left alone to enjoy all of them; except the first - occasionally) Exactly why I've chosen to remain single RL

From: Oryx Tempel LOL this was me today (or yesterday?). I was wandering around the house, thinking that I wanted chocolate, but knew that I didn't really; I was just substituting it for some other unknown thing. No happy ending. I just got over it. With me it's Scotch. And sometimes I actually pour a glass, and don't drink it, because it wasn't what I wanted. So guys get it too, we're just better at suppressing and sublimating, I suspect.

From: Yumi Murakami I only "pointed out that she was an idiot" because the same person had, earlier in the same conversation, said that anyone who made argument X was an idiot - and then she made it herself.
I know why - you had explained why in your original post about it. Regardless of why - we all do things sometimes which might seem senseless or contradictory to others. But it can be less than gracious to point those out, especially if that same person was at least trying to be helpful when it happened. That's all I'm trying to say. From their point of view, they spent X amount of time and effort trying to help a person who replied by insulting them. Most likely, of course. I can't say for sure since I'm not them. Lol I think there are truly helpful people in-world; it may simply be that their teaching method has not synced with your expectations perfectly, or communication was hampered by something - such as a need so urgent and immediate the student's patience was perhaps less than ideal? It's a possibility at least. If I may make a suggestion about your frustrations with building and scripting - if you see the limitations and know a better way (and I am not being facetious here, totally serious) why not build your own game? It may be that in its current form, SL is not up to your standards. Or, help to make a better SL, which I am sure many people will be quite grateful to you for. I don't know the first thing about scripting and would love new innovations, animations, etc., etc. (Dances especially.)
