People (not just the OP, but "questionnaire people" in general), it's annoying that you don't even take the time to read responses to previous threads, much less to really get a feel for the residents you are treating like lab mice. There is economic stats on the main section of Second Life's website.
If you spent some time reading you already have the answers to those questions. There is large percentage of people who live here as one gender but aren't assigned that gender at birth or legally, exact numbers no clue. Anyone though can say they are female or male at sign in regardless if this is true, and bank or credit card company isn't required to provide gender information to SL it isn't anyone else business to know. _____________________

Your "uni project?"
First learn the proper protocols of conducting research with approved methodology plus some information about your "uni" (class, purpose of research, how it will be used, etc.) and don't use annoying abbreviations. That still is not guaranteed to have any respondents, but it will sure make you look a lot more authentic and educated. Thankyou for answering, i dont mean to offend anyone by putting up a questionnaire so i dont expect to have slghtly offensive responses. Yes i have examined the second life website and figures but i wanted to generate some specific answers to questions that you cant find the answers on the actual website. i want my replies to come from the users. I am aware lots of people have put questionnaires on but they dont all answer the specific questions i need to know. Basically if you dont wish to answer my questionnaire then dont bother leaving a ranting message instead. I have spent a few hours in the second life world but do have trouble getting grips to it. Im sorry if i give the impression of treating you like 'lab rats' but its only because i am obviously unfamiliar with the whole concept so am asking you nicely for feedback. Thanks again to anyone taking my questionnaire seriously i am grateful.

Just a heads up...you should revise your expectations a bit there. I would advise that you SHOULD expect "slightly/moderatly/serverely/slightly mental, should be locked up" offensive responses. I think this thread is a tease - and if it isn't there must be so many essays created about secondlife that one day a student will write a paper for a prof who IS on sl and will be marked accordingly. Hey, what if teh prof and teh student are having it off on sl and don't even know it???
