Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

*sigh* Graph. Now you're just being ornery.
Remember, at one time there was a real purpose to Resident Answers? I think at this point Claire and Stormy and whoever can hold a meeting inworld if they really want ideas ... . |

AHHH! but this one is asked in a question...looking for a resident answer! All is done by the rules here! Graph, I understand why you posted it. Just don't understand why it was posted NOW. Nothing was said about it today, and it just seems silly to bring it back up. It got kind of ugly on the original thread. It's Friday, it's been a hellish week at work (at least for me, and I can't possibly be the only one), and just......no ugliness today...no room for it. _____________________

One could use the inworld system for adding an event for a parcel and put an ad in the Special Attractions classifieds here in these forums.
One could put ads in the other resident forum sites such as sluniverse, slexchange, wherever it is appropriate. For maximum productivity in planning the event an IM system like Windows Live Messenger or other similar system might be better than trying to use SL. A forum is also a good thing to use for planning but SL doesn't include the ability to create a forum anymore, but free forums that take no work or thought to create are very plentiful, so that would be an option. _____________________

Hi Sunny! I am sorry you are having a hellish week; I was hoping to lighten and brighten your day, you know...to make it sunny! Thank you for the condolences. This thread should not in any way resemble the other thread... btw, which one are you referring to?I think I asked a legit and GENERAL question...if I recall... lets not read more into this than what my question asks, please. mmmhmmm _____________________

Maybe one should have a "Friend's Alts" list in addition to a Friends List.

graph I like you, you know that
but this post just stings and it is in bad taste you know that the first thing anyone sees when they look at this post, is the other thread and being one of the people who were against advertising events in RA, I feel like this post/poll is just a slap in the face it so could have been worded differently all the snide comments, all the stupid "place that shall not be named" crap stings I feel like every time I see those comments that I am being shoved further and further away, just because I had a difference of opinion it is almost like people are being "smart" about it and saying SEE I CAN SNEAK IT IN THERE, so F you! why? just tell me why you would even post anything that even remotely rings of the other thread? IF the intent was to hurt those who had a different opinion than yours... well it is working well on me... I did not vote nor will I now if you want legit answers to a legit question... post it properly., not a stupid poll with crappy obviously made up answers... not a poll that is openly a slap in the face to those of us who do not agree with the majority I think I repeated myself a lot in this post, if so I am sorry, I am just shocked and at a loss for exactly the right words... I did not expect this... at all... _____________________

Some comments were nice ![]() That's true - and I apologize for that. Your's and several others were very kind. It was one particular one who indicated I was apparently "the problem" that has my Irish dander up. *grins* _____________________
