From: Chris Norse Be nice Jig, just because she is the pretty sister. No reason to be snippy. From: Jig Chippewa Hmm.
Well, no doubt she got the brains. Aacdemically speaking at least, so I'll agree there. And she's more "centred" than me. Also, I think she's brighter when it comes to replies and doesnt get into half as much trouble. She's able to communicate better with Laurin and Deira. I think Uncle Des. prefers her coz he always speaks about her. She definitely has a pleasanter look to her; I have a permenent scowel. She has way more empathy, more faith, more appreciation and prolly a better vocabulary. Not sure which of you two to hug first . . . Probably Jig, because she is, as she often is here (although I don't think enough people notice it) being characteristically both generous and self-deprecating. Then again, maybe Chris, because he is lying so nicely: Jig is much prettier than I am.

From: Suki Hirano It's been a while now, but I've noticed that some people around me seem to have a suspicious source of income. They have no payment info on file, yet they always wear expensive sets of clothing (from well-known stores), and change it like everyday. It's not possible to camp for like 500-1000L in a day I think, and since some of them are on my friends list I don't always see them on, so camping is out. Maybe they have alts with payment info used that send them money, to hide their identity or something? Or did copybot suddenly have the ability to rip contents out of a vendor? What are your thoughts on this? You can get a lot of really nice free stuff in hunts and on Midnight Madness boards.

Who cares how they get their lindens. Why is it any business of yours? There are many ways of making money available to your characters without having info on file. I am a creator and I give my alts (models) money all the time to buy things. Also if your friends with these people then why not just ask them. If they are your friends they won't mind answering your questions. Good that you are posting in the forums and reading them. You will learn more and more.

Doesn't matter where those friends got whatever it is that makes you think what you are thinking, it is not your business to spy and snoop.

There are many ways someone can have lots clothes and what not without having stolen content nor money. I belong to a freebie group that not only advertises clothing but furniture, holiday decorations...shoot even a cars and houses. There are groups for lucky chairs and midnight mania boards.
Personally, I don't care where my friends get their stuff. Now, we would have a problem if they had stolen content. I buy from xstreet, get freebies and in some of the groups I belong to, they give out weekly/monthly specials.
Unless they are telling you they have no money, how do you know they don't?
My advice, like irl friendships (true ones) are hard to come by. Just enjoy being their friend and go with the flow. If you are that curious, simply ask. But, if it was me I think I would be offended if you did. My likely response would be, "Why, you got some spare money to give me? Sure, I will take it'.
My suggestion is to simply as your friend what places does she suggest for you to shop and ask her to take you. Chances are she will and give you some tips too.
Now if she stealing content and you are aware of it, what do you plan to do about it? Ask yourself that question before you start poking your nose where it may not belong.

I have PIOF, but I NEVER buy Lindens. I have been working as a DJ and club manager in SL for almost 2 years, and had my own store for several months, and I make a good living. I also get a lot of nice clothes from Midnight Manias and hunts (and the occasional Lucky Chair.)

From: Suki Hirano Some of them are my friends, so I know they're not alts of creators or friends with owners of large shops, or work for money. I can go weeks at a time without buying more than the occasional dollarbie ... and still acquire items that are >1000 lindens each. A common thing at many stores is midnight manias to get return business, and some stores put some very good stuff in them.

Maybe they smuggle prim babies for wealthy yet childless professional couples?
But more seriously, I'd guess at alt, receiver of stolen goods, or person who just has a sugar daddy.

A reciever of "stolen goods" is probably the very last thing I would suspect. So many other ways to get clothing or "goods" that are far easier to obtain. Plus, most people are quite honest.......I doubt many would knowingly take pirated goods.
