Mr. Splashy Pants! I love it. Voted, thanks!
I've just noticed! Is there really a place called Great Grits? And is that where the tapeworm came from. Grits!

I've just noticed! Is there really a place called Great Grits? And is that where the tapeworm came from. Grits! I'm pretty sure it's an urban legend. I just thought it was cool and had to put it somewhere. But yes, grits are popular in the South. _____________________

At the risk of having pie (or worse) thrown at me, I voted for Sedna. Does this make me a hippie? I think Mister Splashy Pants could still be his nickname. Or hers - Ms Splashy Pants.

I went against the grain and voted for "Echo." I just like "Echo" as a name for a whale.
Looks like Mr. Splashy Pants will definitely win, though! coco _____________________

Good job it wasn't a Ford Transit van. Then it would have been a van aerial. And you could have got a disease. A van aerial disease. (I'll get my coat ......) Coco groans, dies, and is never heard from again. coco _____________________

I didn't say that the tapeworm CAME from the grits. The website for the grossest world records said that the woman came from Great Grits, Mississippi (which I can't find on a map.) _____________________

I personally like grits. I hope you all know they are nothing more than ground up dried corn treated with lye to remove the hull to make the whole thing more digestable.
Tapeworms are another matter. I hear you can buy tapeworms to lose weight. Is that really true? If so I have a friend who might be interested. _____________________

Unlike the host, the tapeworm is smart and eat only nutritious stuff like vitamins and minerals and proteins. It avoids a lot of fats. (Wouldn't want to be a FAT tapeworm, would you?) You WOULD lose a little weight, but it's probably as smart as bulimia for a weight loss plan. _____________________
