My sympathies, Elora, on the loss of your Grandmother. She must have been pretty amazing.
So Threadies... I really have to share a diva moment with you. Last night was Choir practice, and at the very end we were doing "Bless the Lord" from Godspell. It ends with a fabulous 5or 6-part chord and it happened i was the only one present who could hit the top note (A just below high C). And I NAILED it! Just pure and shimmery hanging over the 25 other voices.... If you're not a choral singer, you might not relate, but this is a "YES!" moment. I only had one chance to hit this one, and it was right on....  And speaking of glorious, Rhaorth I am so SO impressed that you made those eggs. They are fabulous. me/joins in the general begging for more picutes. _____________________

Okay, one more pic from me. I forgot I took this one until I was looking for pics to print out for display on the freshly painted walls. I had never had to much on the walls up until now. I have somewhere between 50 and 100 people coming over on Saturday so I thought I better paint and put up pics. (or at least I was told I was gonna do it.)

When I couldn't log into SL you'd find me watching BBC's the Apprentice on BBC iPlayer (honest you would), there that's my SL connection out of the way.
HUGE congrats to Lee who won the Apprentice, he was my favourite right from the start, commiserations to Claire who was always my number 2. Kick in the nuts to the BBC for mixing their 'Final Episode' download up with their sister prog 'Your Fired' download on iPlayer and as a result eager viewers found out who'd won the series with the unforgettable line 'Lee your hired' before they'd even seen the programme. So any suggestions now as to what I should watch when I can't log into SL.. Astrid  |
