.... Do you guys think it's ok that I am modeling the dresses? Do you think I should use other people or alts? I try changing the hair, eyes and skins - but to me- I still look like me ...
I definitely think it is okay to model the dresses yourself - lots of designers actually do that.

lol, Maureen...Kate, Alysha and Scarlet. I think i bought most of the stuff in there lol.

I've dropped the hair on you Amaranthim. i don't see any problem with modelling yourself....I think a lot of people do. It makes sense to do so without having to pay someone else to madel for you, plus its got to be easier to make everything look right on yourself than talking someone else through it lol.

There is one that you run from your browser called AjaxLife and another, called Sleek, where you download a client to your pc.

SLeek?

delta.slinked.net/second-life/sleek/

But the page is down - Ajax works great though and there is nothing to download.

Hmm this thread seems a little long and I cant be bothered to trawl though it but I have 2 questions:

1)Give me a summary of this thread in no more than 10 words.

2)Explain how a thread can last this long on RA without a mod closing it? didnt think such things were possible on this forum.

Pork!

I can answer number two, I think. IMO it's because it keeps a lot of junk out of the other threads. Maybe the next best thing to a general discussion forum and the mod realizes this.

Or maybe we are just all sleeping with the mods.:o

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

1) No need for a summery, it's just a place where people can come to for a laugh, or to test a new sig, or show off a cute pic, or finally de-lurk and introduce themselves, etc. Nothing sinister...

2) Since it isn't hurting anyone, and keeping some of the off-topc out of the other threads, I'm guessing the 'mod' doesn't think shutting it down would serve any purpose. :)

Here's a topic..."The effect of Decimalisation on the 1970's greengrocer" What was said about this? Enquiring minds want to know.

See this all sounds wonderful in the land of fluffy forums. Ive only been off the forums for 6 months but back then nearly EVERY thread that went off topic was closed.

HANG ON A MINUTE......I see what has happened!!!!....this thread has NO real topic, therefore this has confused the simple little Mods minds and they cannot shut the thread!!!!!!

If there is no topic you cant go off topic.......thats genius. You have very slyly recreated the 'general' forum within RA,

Well Done!

Pork.

Mornin' folks! I wish I didn't have to work today, but here I am, once again chained to my desk.

Fun weekend! The weather was great, the wedding/funeral went off with only the funniest of hitches (if you are going to have hitches, they might as well be entertaining) and yesterday was a perfect day to get outside. I rode around on a motorcycle, hung out with my kids, then spent some quality time with this girl...one who has such incredibly poor taste in men that she's actually starting to convince me that she might enjoy hanging around with a broken down old degenerate like me.

Life is looking up! Now if I can survive this week, who knows? I might get another weekend as a reward.

Trout - great wedding/funeral- particularly when you began channeling Mr. Mumfuzz :)

Glad you had a great weekend and stop selling your self short- I am sure that the girl so charmed with you, is a bright and discerning woman who sees you as you no doubt are- a charming and entertaining man worthy of her time. Good luck :) Ain't love grand...
