Let me lay out some points here.

I have an opinion that most people do not like. I am OK with that; I would actually be botherd if many people did agree. I expressed it once. I reaffirmed it once when it was questioned. Otherwise ... why bother since it is an opinion and I am not likely to change anyone’s mind.

My opinion has been stated by someone else 5 to 10 times per day for the past week. The search function is there. Look it up if you want to verify it yourself.

There is no moderation of these threads. There is no consequence for actions. The worst that will happen is a single thread is locked, yet there is no recourse for continuing in another thread.

For this forum to remain cival, we need to "self-moderate." It is up to the individual to stay PG, or post in the appropriate forum. For the most part, we have. However, someone has not. Someone has no self control and can not govern his/her actions. They do not have the ability to restrain themselves. It just flat out can not be done.

Excuse the metaphor, but there is a cancer in forum. It is growing and it will not stop until the forum is dead. It can not stop. It does not possess that ability. Without the power to remove it, there is only one inevitable conclusion.

A long time ago, this troll would go a week or more without incident. Then something would set them off on a row for 3 or 4 days. It has since escalated to a constant, daily attack. Even the helpful posts are concluded with insults. The cancer has grown. It is malignant. It will be the death of these forums.

There is no moderation but that which we apply ourselves. If we do not apply it ... /me shrugs.

Pep does not give a shit if these forums get closed. Meanwhile, I have watched my home and yours become the back ally of a turfwar. Maybe if we ignore it, it will go away.

I just feel disgusted by someone doing what you have done, and rather than admitting your mistake, triumphantly repeating it in cold blood, attempting to vindicate the bilious vitriol you spouted in response to a comment about the settings you use on your avatar, by relating it to someone who I know considerably better than you, and who left this thread because she knew that I would not back down from the appalling behaviour of several of the regulars here. You did not express an opinion; you wished death, painful death on another. I can restrain myself and remain PG with my postings while you are the one who loses control of her emotions to such an extent that you post foulmouthed obscenities.

While you are still posting here, and while others continue to post in support of you in any way, and while others post about griefing and related topics here, I have a platform for the reiteration of my disgust for your attitude and the public demonstration of it.

Pep (You are despicable and contemptible.)

PS I find it the perigee of dramatic irony that you have quoted this:

"all it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing"

given that *you* are the one who has demonstrably expressed evil in these forums, and you are surrounded by supposedly "good men" who are not merely doing nothing, but are supporting you in your evil-doing. :rolleyes:

It's about time you came out of your shell and said what you have thought you were *not* saying so "cleverly". :rolleyes:

Pep (I don't hate, and I certainly don't hate women; but you would have to concentrate for more than five seconds to be able to read the half a sentence necessary to understand that, wouldn't you.)
