Did we figure out which woman from Pep's past beat the snot out of him and made him all sensitive to the issue of battered men?

Well, I'm delighted to report that I've never had the "snot" beaten out of me by anyone (although I know some who have), but that doesn't mean that I don't care about those who have. Surely it is not necessary to have been a victim oneself to want to change an injustice?

Thanks! Yes, it was nice of him! . . . although at first I was mildly ... um, perturbed? ... that he'd been taking pics of me without my knowledge. But I suppose that happens all the time.

He did another one too. It's a nice shot, but not as interesting, I think.

II like this one a bit better actually.
So do I.

:)

It's gratifying, I suppose to be photogenic. Now if only I could manage to take such nice pics myself. :(

Whoa, Lexxi - that's a cool shot. I don't think I've ever seen Watchman from that angle! :)

I love them, especially the first one. And I have told you to come to my studio, you can tincker around all you like. I just added 20 new backdrops to it tonight :)

Bored and pensive under the tree at what used to be AM Radio's Beneath the Tree that Died.

This shot was actually taken by a passerby, while I was unawares. I think he produced a much better composition than I could have managed.

Wow...great pic. I love how pensive you look. :)

And how nice that someone shared the pic with you. I was out and about one day, when someone did the same. It was a really nice shot, too. :)

kk, I'll do that. Is the studio in your picks?

(PS. What's all this I am hearing on another thread about "neko orphans" hanging around Caledon? Do you think someone else might be trying to get a piece of the Guvnah's "action"?)

Checking in here. RL has intruded in the form of a non-cancerous but baseball sized tumor that my hubby had partially removed on the 22 @ Scripps in La Jolla. I have been sans access to anything but my blog and gmail. Hope everyone is well and just remember life is fleeting and caring means everything. <333

Oh, Argus! *hugs*

Did everything go well with the surgery?

And Scripps Clinic is an awesome facility (as is Scripps Hospital); they've got excellent peeps working there.

Know that we're thinking of you and yours. :)

Thanks Kaimi! Although I suspect the tree is better at the modeling thing than I am. I'm actually using a pretty fidgety sit pose . . .

TY! I love going to AM Radio's sims, sometimes to write, and sometimes when I'm upset about something. I find them very calming, but also emotionally powerful and evocative. I especially used to love sitting in the tall grass at The Far Away, looking at the abandoned locomotive. :)

Thanks for reminding me to take a wander through AM Radio's builds. They are terrific. :)

Thanks Mo! I DO look rather thoughtful . . . which is nice, as in RL I can't normally manage better than "gormless" or "vacant." ;)

From my first day, really, in SL, I have been amazed at how sweet people can be. It's something of a contrast to my RL city, which can often be a bit cold and unfriendly feeling.

Yes!! They are lovely lovely lovely!

On a related note, I am so sorry to see that Bettina Tizzy is discontinuing the NPIRL blog. It was such a handy place to find cool places to go.

I'll send you a LM. It's at my house but kinda hard to find. And there are some things you don't want to wander into there. Jig is already incorrigible, but you we shield from these things.

Oh, those rumors have been floating around forever. I took him to task about it ages ago, worry not ;)

Wow - it sure doesn't take much time to catch up when I'm simply scrolling past folks bickering. Of course, those posts do help get us close to the 100,000 mark.

And you're getting close to the 10K mark!! :p

I know, I just discovered that blog a couple of weeks ago. Too bad.

*giggles and mews*

That's because I took a picture of the sign reversed. As in N A M H C T A W. It is set up, the sign that is, to be seen from a certain angle. When I processed the picture, I "mirrored" it so that it became WATCHMAN. Which means that you can't actually see that angle inside of SL.

I'm just catching up.

Verizon had to do some voodoo at my house, so they turned off my phone/internet/cable service yesterday (it was supposed to happen at noon, but of course, they were early and turned it off at 7 am)...and today I had to wait at home for the guy to come and reactivate everything. So, as of noon, I now have phone/internet/cable once again.

Sorry I couldn't provide breakfast. How about some lunch?

Thank you. I like finding neat places to wander, though it is hard, sometimes. Unknown masses of green dots can cause certain issues, so I tend to be somewhat limited.

I say that, but Midian City itself was at 40 people, full sim. Earlier I called it a three sim Midian City. Really, though, one of the sims is called Midian City, another, the other city build, is called something like Leviathan - another Midian City, while the middle sim has some odd name like Quottokoookoooullkououtklkjoiutosiauodf - that's the sim with nature reclaiming city land. Another Midian City and Quotoko are Mature rated. Midian City is Adult rated.
