The nice thing about SL is that shopping is fun, no problem if you buy the wrong thing, and we never have to dust
.
Shopping in SL is definitely fun and I pretty much hate all RL shopping, but I still hate decorating here.

When I finally finish building the house it will take forever to furnish it and longer still to deal with the landscaping.

*sighs*

The worst thing about decorating for me was finding out that moderate sized house I built is really huge. To fill it required way too many prims. I wound up with a large empty area I justified in my mind as a dance floor, should the need arise. I also hung a lot of art on the walls to make it look a little less empty.

If I ever build another, it will be for 1024 parcel whatever size my parcel really is.

The cool thing about decorating is it's not very gender specific. Unlike clothing, I was able to find plenty of stuff to suit my tastes or lack thereof.

Back from traveling after 10 computerless days, and I see the forums are still here, as are the rumors of its imminent demise (greatly exaggerated?).

Home, sweet home.

Any over-the-top dramahz I missed while I was away?

Let's say that decorating is LESS gender-specific than clothing.

Discuss.

I dunno. Some of the guys I've dated seemed to use their clothing AS decorations.

LOL!!

Yeah, who actually needs an area rug in the bedroom? Most of the time it's not visible anyway . . .

We had a lot of fun furnishing!

Oh, and a couple of slurls for the party:

This takes you to the house, corral, barn, pool and dance floor:

This takes you to the "south forty" and the start of the zip line into the clouds:

.

LOL...yeah, um...I thought the open house was yesterday. :o So, I tp'd over there and...lol was greeted by some angry bees.

I was so embarrassed.. I tp'd out right quick. :o

I've been having fun trying out different styles of furnishings. :)

And lol, I know what you mean about the size of the house. But...somehow...we've managed to fill it. :D

Welcome back to the land of the interwebs, Malia :)

Drahmah? What's that? :p Well...some folks decided, for their sanity and peace of mind, there was a bit too much controversy here, so they did move on...some to SLU, others to Second Citizen. I miss them. :(

But...I'm here for the duration. :)
