/me hums a song in my head, and i can't get it out. so, i thot i'd share. don't worry, it's a goodie....

"Don't go changing, to try and please me
You never let me down before
Don't imagine you're too familiar
And I don't see you anymore
I wouldn't leave you in times of trouble
We never could have come this far
I took the good times, I'll take the bad times
I'll take you just the way you are

Don't go trying some new fashion
Don't change the color of your hair
You always have my unspoken passion
Although I might not seem to care

I don't want clever conversation
I never want to work that hard
I just want someone that I can talk to
I want you just the way you are.

I need to know that you will always be
The same old someone that I knew
What will it take till you believe in me
The way that I believe in you.

I said I love you and that's forever
And this I promise from the heart
I could not love you any better
I love you just the way you are. "

:D

Awesome, I'm jealous.

If you ever get the chance try the train ride thru Copper Canyon in Northwestern Mexico. We did that trip back in 2005. It was a blast. The train trip goes from sea level to 8,000 ft with 86 tunnels and 38 bridges.

I've briefly thought about getting a similar device but I guess I'm just a luddite when it comes to e-books. I was reading about how the technology is changing so quickly with paper thin lcd sheets you'll soon be able to roll up and carry around with you http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2009/02/you-can-check-o/. I can totally see the merits of such devices, however, I will probably forever love the tactile feel of turning the paper pages of a weathered book I've read a million times or that has been passed on to me from someone with a love for reading without worrying about DMCA restrictions. The technology is relatively new so if you can wait, you'll likely be able to get something thinner and cooler in a year. Having said all that, I can entirely empathise with you with regards to that annoying and irresistible urge of wanting a new toy!

I use my Blackberry, and MobiPocket. Love it. Keep about 80 books on it, so no matter where I have to hide out, I can curl up and read. :)

Something large like that is harder to take everywhere and hide.
