A bird in hand may be worth two in a bush, but what if there is no bird in hand? I don't want two whether in a bush, in hand or on my head. One is good. But which bush? There are so many birds in so many bushes for only one cat. But once the fireman sings, it's over the bridge and then look where you are. I mean really now! So my question is, can Moses paint in orange?

/me needs to wait for the morning medication to kick in before posting.

Josef, I like it. Thank you.

Word for the day: quesadilla

I tumbled the word of the day around in my mouth for a while. I repeated this word to my self many times. I tried to kinda clear my consciousness of preconceptions and then allow my thoughts to bathe this word with unfettered curiosity. The sound of it brought a question to mind:

How much dilla IS there in a ques?

Well, thank you for the fond memory, but I think you have partially forgotten. The lyrics went:

When I was very young
I aksed dear Madre, what will lunch be?
will it be tacos, burros or beans?
here's what she said to me

Que-sa dilla, sa dilla
tortilla with cheese, with cheese
some salsa, and and grilled in grease
quesadilla, sadilla

Noooooooo....I can't wait that long. I am very impatient.

Quick. I need a non sequitur, a reference to bacon, to be a voyeur to some flirting, a list of movies good or bad, a lolcat, a youtube someone finds funny or offensive, a joke I don't understand at all, something...ANYTHING.

Nevermind, I'm going to bed.

I was saving this for post 1K but ... because I love you more than bacon :)

oh, and how about something funny AND offensive?

.... which, as Dave Barry might say, would be a great name for a rock band.

Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked. If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, where the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

Betty Botter bought a bit of butter.
The butter Betty Botter bought was a bit bitter
And made her batter bitter.
But a bit of better butter
Makes batter better.
So Betty Botter bought a bit of better butter,
Making Betty Botter's bitter batter better.

Also,
I'm not the pheasant plucker, I'm the pheasant plucker's mate,
And I'm only plucking pheasants 'cause the pheasant plucker's late.
I'm not the pheasant plucker, I'm the pheasant plucker's son,
And I'm only plucking pheasants till the pheasant pluckers come.

:p lol.

If this is the "undead thread" I thought it might as well be vampyric and consume other threads. So, here's my version of the gender thread.

Origianl survey: /327/fe/253712/1.html
My survey: http://www.tigersurvey.com/survey.php?survey=5720
Results (for raw data)http://www.tigersurvey.com/report.php?survey=5720

My (very short) analysis:
Of the repsponders, 2/3 are female and only 1/3 are male.

One quarter of the responders admit to playing a crossgender role. Of those, half voluntered that thety were in fact male. Since the question was not specifically asked and survey answers are not linked together, there is no way of know the gender of the remaining cross gender players. Any folloe up survey may need to take this into consideration.

Slightly over half the responders feel they have interacted with people who are crossgender but deny it. However, when faced with openly crossgendered players, 2/3 of the responders accepted the avatar's gender and treated the players as such. Not only that, but another 1/4 stated that they treat the cross gender player either as the player requested or in reaction to how they acted. If it looks like a duck and acts like a duck then it is a duck. Only 9% of the resonders would treat the crossgendered player only as their natural gender.

From: someone
4. Do you feel you have recieved special favors or attention because of your gender? (Required)
69% Yes
31% No

5. If you answered yes to question #2, do you feel you received special favors or attention because of that avatar's gender?
82% Yes
18% No
Many more people answered this question than were identified as have played a cross gender avatar from question #2. Follow up survies should revise how these questions are asked.

From: someone
8. Given the choice and all things being equal, would you be more likely to play a character of the other sex in another social game? (Required)
31% Yes
69% No
I have not idea what the point of this set of questions were in the original survey. Question 8 here is listed for statistical curiosity only. Questions 9 and 10 wher whimsical and thus ommited from coonsideration.
