Under Advanced - turn on View Admin Options and you are able to actually see all the urls in the media tab. Also, there is a setting she can enable on the land that lets others see the media urls. _____________________

Good Morning Threadville! Last night, Maureen and I failed miserably at watching a movie.  I tried to surprise her...but...she owns the land, and what I used (a "rental" from an in-world store) needed me to be able to set the media stream on the land (which I can't). And the actual url was hidden..so she couldn't just type it in. And the "rental" was in my name, so giving her the player didn't work either. I suppose I could find some web space somewhere, and upload my own movie file. Then we could point to it. Ah well...we'll figure it out. Cheers everyone! _____________________

If the land is group owned, she could have temporarily put you in the group and give you the abilities to change the media settings. if she sets the land to group, and gives you group access which includes parcel controls, you can use it. We thought we had done that...but we'll check again tonight. |

You also need to make sure that the role has permission to modify land stuff (music/media). Not all have this permission. _____________________

What a strange message. Is this Linden sense of humour, or was it done by a script on the sim? After I was tossed off of SL. I just modified it a little, since I noticed my name in there. I was in a small vehicle. For some reason it was renamed Lexxi Gynoid123. re: when left: I explored up above a little, then started wandering. Went to the next sim, then the sim next to it. That sim turned out to not be part of the expo. Also, that one turned out to have build on and I noted that in group chat. Since I was in my homeless, dirty, garb, I rezzed my shopping cart on that build enabled land. Couldn't get back into the expo land sims. With or without vehicles. _____________________
