Good morning, Threadies! Today, we travel to Spain. El Desayuno– Breakfast A typical breakfast might include café con leche - strong coffee with hot, frothy milk, churros, bollos (sweet rolls) with jam, or toast with jam or mild cheese. Now...Tapas. Tapas are eaten well after breakfast, but before lunch, the large mid-afternoon meal! Tapas-time includes bar-hopping to wine-taste and chat, a different Tapa at each stop. Spanish love tapas so much, they made a verb out of it. The phrase Vamos a tapear! means “Let’s go eat tapas!” A few of the most popular tapas are: Tortilla Española - Spanish Omelet Patatas Bravas - Potatoes with Spicey Brava Sauce Gambas al Ajillo - Shrimp in Garlic (from http://spanishfood.about.com/od/discoverspanishfood/a/spain_meals.htm)

From: LittleMe Jewell Now listen up all you people posting those cool looking pictures:
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post the locations. I always want to go to those neat places.
Thank You !!! I went back and put the slurl in for the chapel. The sim is "where the wild things are." Up the hill is this store that sells weird neko skins and eyes. Think demented Bratz dolls with blood on them. .

Good morning everyone. My RL weekend was spent bringing one computer up to current patch level so it is ready for my mom's visit later this week, and pulling my hair out trying to clean all the trojans off of my daughter's laptop. Her anti-virus/anti-spyware software expired about 2 weeks ago and apparently last week she picked up something so horrid that it pretty much made her computer unusable. I had to download 3 different cleaners, all specifically targeting this one trojan, before I finally got it cleaned. And I am still finishing fixing the aftermath. Luckily my SL weekend was far more pleasant and helped make up for the RL hassles.

The weather cut short my exploration a bit, but I did see a lot more than I did during my last visit. I did some brush up reading on the battle last week to have a fresh perspective.

He is just now starting to do the head out the car window thing. He spent the weekend at a very nice dog and horse boarding house, and he of course managed to make himself the center of attention.

Hello Fellow Threadies, Weekend went great! Hosted a wedding on our sim with one day's notice. A newbie couple. What is it with them and getting partnered within like what 2 weeks of meeting each other? They didn't have any money or so they told Will. Will was feeling sorry for them, told them since it was justthem, their pastor and 1 guest we do it for nothing. What probably should've taken all but 15- 30 minutes took like 1 1/2 hours. She kept crashing and so on. The pastor, Lord knows I don't know what he was doing, but once he got started he did a great job. But one good thing that came out of it was I finally met our paying customer and her fiance'. If it hadn't been for the newbie couple, I would not have been there. I would been gleefully shopping at the new store I found. Yesterday, I attended the preview of the King Tut exhibit. That was great. Will and I missed the rl exhibit in Atlanta so finding it in sl was a tremendous plus. The narrative and the quality of the audio was excellent. I can't wait till they add more to the exhibit. I highly recommend it. You can find the location in showcase. Finally got my sister Megs pinned down to a wedding date. That was like pulling teeth. To her defense her rl boss hadn't given her the work schedule. So guess what? I am scrambling to get those arrangements made by today to meet the wedding for this Thursday. Oh btw, the newbie coupled we married Friday, is knocked up already. Good Lord, things move swiftly in sl. My paying customer that I met Friday, she brought her bestfriend in to meet us yesterday. Apparrently, some drama happened with wedding vendor she selected and the vendor cancelled. So now I am working feverishily to meet that new customer's deadline. Business is finally looking good.

When my daughter got to be that age I would meet the boys at the front door with a shotgun and make them fill out a financial statement. That seemed to weed out most of the real losers.

I had a fun weekend too, I actually got off my sim for a time. Had another 'good' experience with a great creator, Diamond Meness who owns Naughty Nibbles, a foodmaker. I've dealt with her before, she's awesome. When I tp'd to her location, it was empty and I was devastated to think she'd gone out of business. Then found that she bought her own sim and is definitely still in business. There were 2 parties for Virtual Ability this weekend, to congratulate us for winning the Linden Prize. Diamond made a perfect, beautiful congratulations cake, on extremely short notice, using our logo. I have a lot of her food items and they always make me hungry when I set them out for a party. She does a good job.
Mari, at one of the parties for Virtual Ability this weekend, I met a little girl; (can't remember her name now unfortunately). She was great, it was a very PG party she attended with us and she was out on the dance floor in a darling little red and white dress dancing her little heart out. She was there with her mom. Also a couple of kitties there, kitty avatars dancing too. The kitties had just met each other and got along great, joking around with each other and dancing. It was a fun time, with the best DJ I've yet heard at an SL party.

I haven't been to xstreet in a while. So I peek at the front page of the marketplace, and what attacks my eyes? "wearable sweat" https://www.xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=1410850) clothing layers sweat.
