Good morning/day/evening to all Thread residents. I'll have to rely on someone to confirm but this morning's breakfast was flown in from the Netherlands: Breakfast usually consists of bread with any of the following toppings: appelstroop, cheese, cold meats, jam, honey, hazelnut-chocolate spread or sweet sprinkles, known as hagelslag (the type you would normally put on your cake: chocolate, aniseed or fruit flavors). Beschuit (round rusks), buttered ontbijtkoek (a cake made with rye flour and spices like cloves, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg) and currant buns with cheese are popular too. Cereals are also widely enjoyed. Breakfast will often be consumed with coffee, tea or juice. (From: http://dutchfood.about.com/od/aboutdutchcooking/ss/3DailyMeals_2.htm) If you need more coffee:

From: Maureen Boccaccio I hope Elora and Ghosty's cruise is going well! Packing is going really well We leave around noon today, taking train into NYC, then cabbing it uptown to the boat. Thankfully the train is literally down the block, like a 2 minute walk because it's raining. Was going to to drive but it costs over $200 to park for the week (as did taking car service). Anyhoo, going to grab some breakfast and finish packing (most is done already anyway), clean up, relax a bit and then, we're off! Then Twitters, emails, notifications, etc. will be turned off and we are in cognito hehe.

@Lexxi - I love the dragon pics.
@Mo - Thanks for breakfast, but it sure looks a bit small. Maybe I could have a few servings?

@Seven - Very lovely dress and the guy isn't too bad either.
@Amara - Drop me an LM when you get a chance, please.

So.... I was reading the weather forecast for the day. Could someone please explain to me the difference between "mostly cloudy" and "partly sunny"? It seems that my sky will be bouncing between those two most of the day, with a tad bit of rain tossed in here and there.

But, if it is "mostly cloudy" would that not imply that it is only "partly sunny" and visa versa? I think they switch between the two phrases out of boredom
