AHEM!!

Guess who's back with his Ex-Fiancee? ;)

Long story short- I had a date with a young lady (not 19, but over 21). I told the Ex.

I came home to a pissed-off email.

Went to pick her up where she walked to.

We talked.

I told her, that my marriage proposal was REAL. That I DO want to spend whats left of my life with her, start a family & all that "adult crap".

So YES!! I have my woman back!!! And I'm thrilled!!! :)

And now that I'm making a decent $$$, I can buy a really GOOD engagement ring!! Nothing super expensive, just something better than the $80 Ruby Heart ring I got her.

If there's ever a person who needs to be canonized as a Saint, it's her! She puts up with my dorky dumbass ways. And for all the dumb stuff she's done, I still love the girl. :o

Doing pretty good thank you -- and glad you had a good time.

Here's a funny, but I'll worn you that strong Dems probably won't appreciate it, so they might want to pass:

I had an interesting morning on SL...

I'm usually on pretty early. Most days a few friends are on, too...

but today, no one, except ONE person I don't usually talk to. I was already kind of bummed out, was thinking of skipping SL entirely, but instead I went to a high place to look at the sunrise on the sea.

After a while, this friend started IM'ing me.

We talked for a bit, and it came out that I'd been working on a male avatar, but I wasn't exactly pleased with the results. She offered to do him a makeover. I took a deep breath, changed accounts, and off we went.

God! Was it weird! She openly laughed at my work so far, which made me a bit defensive, but when she wouldn't stop laughing, I had to give up. I'd bought a skin at Pulse, and fiddled with a freebie shape... she said the results were "awful!"

"I don't want people to notice me," I said.

"They won't!" she replied.

I *thought* I had a kind of Michael J. Fox cuteness. I'm not sure she even knew who he was. But she did say I looked like a kid.

But, after redoing the shape and skin and eyes... woo... (OH and getting a decent, non-swishy AO!) I looked so good, I was *EXTREMELY* uncomfortable.

"Why?" she asked.

"Would YOU want to look like this?" I replied.

"Shh!" she cautioned. (We were in the middle of a busy store.)

"Nobody cares," I laughed. "But I can't live up to this look."

Although at one point -- actually, after I got a decent AO -- I said, "Now I can go to [a certain sim] and beat up [a certain guy]."

"Why would you do that?" she asked. "The poor guy!"

"Isn't he mean?" I replied.

"No."

"Oh, well never mind then."

I still have to get the hair, and better clothes... I did pick up a decent pair of shoes in Honeybear's mall. Discovered that guys have to do the zero-foot thing too...

After he's all baked and the icing put on, I'll post pictures.

The funny thing is, after all that, I felt so much better than I did before. Shopping is good therapy, and it's much better with someone else helping you decide.
I love your attitude, Key.

Did you read the article? Paul Klugman, a Nobel-prize-winning economist, says the Obama Administration is wrong in not seizing the opportunity to nationalize the banking system. Seems a tad extreme to me...

April fool breakfast anyone?

Or since the French have this thing about "poisson d'avril":

Yummy kippers!

Pep (I found lots of pictures of fake food, but it didn't look very appetising)
